Hi Ladies, These are my absolute favorite maps down here (often found at the car rental agencies): PLAYA DEL CARMEN RIVIERA MAYA CANCUN Natalie, the Royal is right in the middle of Playa, on Constituyentes Ave and the beach. Yes, I totally agree with the ladies above. Mexico's import taxes are in place to protect certain industries (one being the clothing industry) so items can get tied up in customs and taxed like crazy to get into the country. Much easier to pay the extra luggage fees and bring it all down yourself. You may want to look into some colapsable luggage if you don't plan on bringing it all back with you! Happy Planning! Hey Ladies! For daytime activities, snorkeling is a great way to enjoy the local wildlife! We highly recommend The Snorkel Shop for snorkeling tours in the area. They are a smaller company that offer great personal service and get great TripAdvisor reviews! Another fun idea would be a version of a TTD where the girls all get dressed up for underwater pictures in a local Cenote or beach! Happy Planning and let us know if we can help!
