  1. Hello Ladies! Having such a private, intimate wedding is a beautiful way to celebrate your special day! And there are just so many beautiful locations in this area for just that! Solimon Bay is gorgeous and super private! There are also some gorgeous private villas in Tulum and Isla Mujeres! For this type of wedding, I would highly recommend a wedding planner! It is not an easy task to deal with all the local vendors and find trustworthy suppliers for the many aspects of your wedding. A local pro with loads of contacts will save you lots of headaches and time/money! Happy planning and let us know how we can help! Sofia Lori's Office Assistant
  2. Hey Mrs. Mazzanti! One great thing about the Royal is its very central location! Being right downtown will give you and your guests access to all the town has to offer and makes it super easy to book any outside services you may want. For some more advice on your planning process check out CHOOSING A RESORT from our website! Happy Planning! Let us know how we can help! Sofia Lori's Office Assistant
  3. Hola Diana, A Villa is a great option and there are so many gorgeous areas with private villas for rent! My number one recommendation is to only rent from a professional company with an active website and a good reputation! I would avoid sites where individuals can post their own advertisements. One company I have had good experiences with is Bric Rentals (www.bricrental.com). If you haven't already, hiring a local wedding planner would also make the planning process much much easier! 4. Hello Dominique and welcome! Many parks offer specials on they website for advanced bookings, particularly Xcaret and Xplor. However, booking through your resort usually means that the transportation is included so may be worth the little extra. Chichen Itza is most often sold as a set tour including a visit to Valladolid and a cenote as is usually about $50 USD per person. I've heard good things about the Dolphinaris and their treatment of dolphins. And for the Coco Bongo trip, I recommend getting the VIP pass in order to have a table to sit at and table service! Make sure you do not book any tours for the day after Coco Bongo!!! Happy Planning! Sofia Lori's Office Assistant
  5. Hey Ladies! Smaller towns like Isla Mujeres and Tulum have many smaller boutique hotels that are perfect for an intimate romantic wedding! There are also options to suit all budgets in each location! Check out the following weddings to get an idea of the potential of smaller hotels: Tulum - Missy & Tom Isla Mujeres - Jessica & Daniel Happy planning and let us know how we can help! 6. Hey Reshma, Congratulations! Lori shot a gorgeous wedding where the many accents were brought by the bride and groom: Kirti & Darryl - Hindu Ceremony & TTD The great thing about tropical weddings is that mother nature takes care of most of the decorating! 7. Hi SNolan, Here is the website with contact info for Nuestra Senora del Carmen (they run the larger church as well as the smaller ocean-view chapel): http://iglesiadelcarmen.org.mx/ There is a weekly English mass at the chapel, so they do have an English speaking priest on hand! Hope that helps! Happy Planning! Sofia Lori's Office Assistant
