Barcelo Maya Palace Wedding by Sweet Fire Photography
I love this hotel and the location of this ceremony. This is the gazebo in the Palace part of Barcelo. This area can hold alot of chairs for guests and is still close enough to the beach that you can see it. Kelly and Ken had a very small intimate wedding with only their closest family members. The sky was grey but lucky for all of us there wasn't a drop of rain. Thanks for an awesome day guys!- Updated

Playa del Carmen - TTD
Photographing a Trash the Dress session is truly a fun experience. It gives the couple a chance to relax, let go and enjoy quiet moments together after months of planning a wedding. There is a lot of laughter and interestingly enough, some of the couples most intimates moments I see when taking photos during a TTD. It was such a pleasure working with Tamara and Dan as it is with all the wonderful newlyweds I have the privilege to work with.- Updated

The Royal Cancun - Dorian & Phil
I really like the Royal Cancun. The rooms are fantastic and every time I've been the birde has an ocean view rooms! Nicest view around!! The resort is small, which is perfect for a wedding group. I especially loved the area for the reception. Just a chunk of beach but it was very well lit (maybe by the DJ, I'm not sure), and private.- Updated

Dreams Tulum - Jillian & Jeremy
Yet another awesome wedding at Dreams Tulum. This is one of my favorite resorts to shoot for many reasons: - perfect size for wedding group - lots of great architecture, color & unique locations for newlyweds - very nice spa - ceremony site is off to the side where you don't get alot of spectators - wedding coordinators are awesome :-) And probably alot more that I'm forgetting at the moment. Anyway, here are some of my favorites of Jillian & Jeremy from April 18th.- Updated

Barcelo Maya Palace Deluxe - Renee & Alex
Renee and Alex made a fantastic choice when choosing to be married at the beach of the Barcelo Maya Palace. If you're looking for privacy on the beach, this is the perfect ceremony location. This chunk of the beach is off to the side and cut off from the rest of the hotel guests by alot of palm trees. There aren't alot of people walking down in this area of the resort as there isn't much past on the other side of it. Plus, only palace guests can access this part of the resort, which cuts down traffic alot as well. The regular Spa at the Barcelo had some water damage a while back and it is still under renovations. It's been closed for about 6 months now, and unfortunately, I didn't see any actual signs of work being done. I'm also including pics of their TTD, which was shot in Playa Del Carmen, in a local residential area. Yes Mom... it's safe. Anyway, thanks Renee and Alex for an awesome day.- Updated
