Thank you so much for posting this. This is beautiful and exactly what I was looking for. I wanted to do something to honour them but did not know what. I'm not sure though about the Homer's Hymns. I wonder if it could be replaced by something else. I really liked the hand ceremony too. Since I am not really good at writing , will use that instead of vows. So I am thinking having the rose ceremony at the beginning then end with the hand ceremony. The sand and stone ceremonies are beautiful but I don't feel like carrying them back.

I'm not doing OTT bags either.Don't want to burden guests with more stuff to carry. I am thinking just sending them some little things along with the programs , such as lanyards and luggage tags, before the trip.

We are doing a cruise wedding too and have decided to go with Janelle from Island Bliss. Haven't worked out any details yet. Will probably get married on Lindquist Beach even though there are no changing facilities I just love that beach, looks so georgeous.

I am using weddingwire too. It's easy to use and free. I don't like the fact that there aren't much choices for the background font but that's not bad for something free. We are doing a cruise wedding too and most of our guests never been on a cruise. We thought about the questions we asked ourselves the 1st time we went on cruise and put them on the website as FAQ. Most of those you can also find on the cruise line website. They are mostly practical information. For example, how to get to the port, what time, suggestions for carry on (since suitcases may get to cabins later), how the cabin key also works as your ID, etc. Have fun with the website and planning! :-)

Zbwedding, wow 3 times. That's horrible! I tried not to make it personal but unfortunately she did take it very personal. I wished I hadn't been so polite and nice. It's been a nightmare with her. She is trying to have a crusade against me now. Torilynnsmith, I didn't loose my reservations but the bookings were messed up so the new TA is trying to fix them now. Wedding planning was supposed to be fun but it has been so stressful !!! I am trying very hard to not let her spoil it as much as I can :-(

Recently I had to fight for unauthorized charges to my credit card, I never thought I would have to go through that.. made me rethink twice now about on-line shopping and giving my credit card number even over the phone for a purchase. It's been a bit of a nightmare fighting it. I really like this idea of using some kind of a gift card instead.

After a very bitter conversation, I am getting my file transferred to another TA. There is a way out !!!! I wish NO one will ever found themselves in the same situation as me! Now, I have to wait and see if the transfer will happen, if she will actually do it and how much she will charge me for cancellation fees "for all her work". At least I have hopes again to have my wedding !

She is unfortunately the owner of the place. I was finally able to talk to her yesterday, expressing my concerns. She said she will send of the stuffs I've requested but it seems like I had to insist a couple to times. I shouldn't have to insist. She seemed surprised and was very defensive about the fact that we couldn't reach her (going around and giving a couple of excuses). She almost made me feel like I was me who was having unrealistic expectations. She was polite but did not apologize or help me feel any better that from now on she would be more accessible. I am just hoping at this point that the bookings have properly been done (waiting for her to send me those confirmations). You are right JayKay I don't need the additional stress of a bad TA.

I am debating between Elisha Orin, Paradise Picture, Blue Glass, and Simple Island Photography. Simple Island Photographer looks a little bit cheaper. I would like of course to have awesome pictures but also a fair amount, between quality and quantity. I read some reviews but it is still sooooooooo hard to decide. I was wondering if there weren't any bride out there who used services from any of the above photographers? Thanks for your help!

I should be sleeping now but my TA is causing me so much stress. She was very helpful a few months ago. She was very good initially, being proactive and responding quickly to my questions, but lately keeps on disappearing on me. She doesn't respond to her phone or email, and doesn't keep up with her deadlines. My guests are also getting frustrated because they can't reach her, and getting upset at me :-( I can't predict that the travel agent would be like this. I went with this travel agent even though she was not my first choice because she was close to home, something that was important to my family, Now, I regret my decision a lot. I wish I could change travel agent but deposits have been made. I am so confused as why someone would change like this. If she couldn't provide the service, she shouldn't had offered. This is not just for a simple trip. I am getting anxious about everything now. I am not even sure my bookings are done properly since I haven't received any official confirmations from her!!!

It's not too expensive and they have all kinds of size. Just thought I'd share in case you didn't already know. :-)

I wasn't sure if I should be wearing a flower (debating between real ones or not) but now I am totally convinced after reading all those threads. Maybe I'll try Etsy for something more affordable.

Hi everyone. Although I registered on this site a while back, it is not until now that I am starting to use it. I was only able to recently decide to have a destination wedding and rediscovered this place. The amount of ideas here is incredible. So much info. I am just starting to learn how to navigate around here and looking for infomation. Anyhow, I was wondering if you wouldn't have any recommended websites (cheap?) for buying mp3 songs? I am just looking for certain songs and not looking into buying the whole cd all the times.
