  5. @ Kitty25967, Are you working with a Travel Agent?? I have one and she is making sure that my guests that stay at the RTS are booked within a BLOCK of rooms.
  6. Hey Kitty, Please don't stress out! I have been to the RST and actually stayed there last July for 7 days. We stayed in the "NEW SECTION" and it was BEAUTIFUL! We stayed in a Junior suite and it literally was one of the best rooms we have stayed at in the D.R. We are also booked for a Romance Suite and cannot imagine how gorgeous it will be. I attached a link that has the romance suite picture You have to remember that when traveling with many people, you can't make everyone happy. SOmetimes things just go wrong...it's bound to happen.   7. Chicago, Thank you so much for all of this great information. I have been customizing the package with him but was just a bit concerned about the printed photos. He said that he would give me 50 proofs with a CD which I wasn't too sure of, but now...I think it will work being that I can print those pictures anywhere I wish. I mean I don't want to have extra photos just sitting in a box either

  9. Hey Chicago, I will make sure that we book all of our guests in the "new section". I actually stayed in the RTS junior suite last summer and it was just like the 2nd photo you posted. I had a question for you in regards to your photographer. I have been looking to book Jorge Alloco but wanted to ask you about the photo package you got. He is telling me that the photos will be given to me through a high resolution CD...what ever happen to ACTUAL photo prints? Did you get the CD or photo prints? I am so new to this so I am a little bite confused. He also mentioned about providing me with proofs...did you get that? If so what are they like?
  10. Hey Chicago, I am so sorry to hear what happened to you with your room situation. I am sooo curious to know what type of room you booked because we are staying there in a junior suite and I am now confused. Do you have pictures of your reception on the beach??? Alan and I have been set on doing a private beach reception and would love to see what it looks like.

  12. Hey Chell44, I am gonna be using El Tronco Floristeria. OMG girl only 5 months to go!!!!! . You are so lucky you have figured out the hairdo. I have been doing research on hairstyles but don't know they willl look once I do the trail. I have also heard that the salon does a great job.   13. Hey Roxy, I was quoted $60-$80 for the centerpiece by a local florist but it is a rented price. I figured renting the centerpieces is one less thing I will have to worry about. Alan and I are making a cd for the ceremony and the resort does provide a CD player

  15. Hi roxy, I have no idea yet how many guests will show up yet. I am anticipating to send the invitations out to have a realistic view as to how many guest will be there. Once I get the final guest # I can start my seating arrangements and table amounts.
  16. Hey Roxy1122, That sounds soooooo exciting!!!! I have been to the GP and stayed at the Royal and it was amazing!!!!!! So many amenities that they offer that I cannot resist but to stay at the ROYAL. Alan and I have a Romance Suite booked for 9 days. Last year we stayed in a Junior suite and it was FAbuloUS!!! so...cannot imagine what the new room will look like. I honestly think that once you get a taste of the ROYAL, you will not want to go anywhere else

  19. I have been to the DR various times and they have this place called "La Sirena" which is just like a WALMART or TARGET but they have so many things such as liquor, hair products, candy and etc. Good luck!

  22. Hey Ladies, I am responded to guke30 & Shiela2011...In regards to the marriage certificate question, I was told you will need to provide a copy of it if you are having a symbolic wedding only. I have actually been married since Memorial Day this year...yes I am a married woman but only did it because it saved such a hassle in the DR in regards to filling out paperwork,, bloodwork, etc. So my destination wedding specialist and Carolina have advised me to make sure I bring a copy of my marriage certificate. Hope this helps!
