We're staying at The Royal PDC but our budget is getting out of control. Do you know of any places other than hotels to get married on the beach (civil union only - no catholic Churches please because we're not catholic). If anyone has any ideas, it would be most appreciated! Thanks, Mia

Hello everyone, I'm desperately looking for a pair of board shorts(for swimming) that say "Groom" down the side. My fiance and I are getting married in Playa Del Carmen and he will not be out done by my bikini that sports my title of Bride! If anyone knows of a place to order them or someone that will make a pair of board shorts, please let me know! The only ones I've found are these that say 'Just Married' on the side but you really can't see it. Hi everyone, I'm getting married at The Royal Playa Del Carmen on July 23, 2011 and I was wondering if there were any places to buy flowers outside of the resort. I don't want to spend $118 on a bouquet of tulips for each of my 3 bridesmaids so I'm looking for other (more cost effective) options. Can anyone help me?????

I'm getting married at The Royal PDC on July 23, 2011!!! I went to their website and clicked on the wedding link and it helps you start the whole process. First you choose the hotel in the left upper corner and then you can chose your package from there. After you choose and submit your inquiry, a wedding coordinator will contact you via email with the information you need to plan you wedding. I'm working with Elsa and she's amazing. I email her 5 or 6 times a week and she always gets right back to me. They have a wedding basecamp online that you can log into and plan your special day! Btw, we chose the Luxury Wedding package too and it's $3800. Good luck! Mia

When is your wedding? We have the same suite with the beach walk out... I'm so excited we don't have to get up super early to reserve a cabana.

I'm getting married at The Royal PDC on July 23, 2011 and we have children attending our ceremony on the beach, cocktail hour in the gazebo (they'll drink juice of course) and then our private 3 hour reception... location TBD. We'll be in PDC until August 2, 2011... any other brides getting married during that time at the same hotel? We're looking forward to our honeymoon and we're thinking of 'trading nights' with The Royal in Cancun for our last 5 nights in Mexico. Has anyone done that or know the rules? Congrats to all the happy couples out there!
