I love all but one of mine, but there's that one that I regret more than I can tell you. And, awesome, it's right between my boobs, where it'll show perfectly in a v-neck or sweetheart neckline. I was so SMRT in college. I wonder if I have time or the budget to work on getting it removed... checking Tammy's link now!

Our office was closed today, but pretty much everyone is salaried and working (except for my lazy-ass boss). I had a huge manuscript submission deadline, so I've been answering stupid repetitive emails all day. Ok, I might be in a bit of a bad mood LOL we got 3.5 feet of snow from 2 PM yesterday to 10 this morning! FI tracked it with a yardstick and took pics every two hours. I grew up in DC and a storm like this would cripple them for weeks. I can't believe we'll be back at work tomorrow! :-(

I think you should do absolutely every last thing that will make this special for you! You have one chance to make these memories, so I'm glad to see that you're not leaving anything out that you might regret later. You and your FI deserve a wonderful day!!

A knock-off would be great, or a used one maybe! I want to wait until I get a little closer to my goal weight before shopping or buying since I'm not sure how much it can be altered if I buy in my current size and lose more poundage (thank you weight watchers). Can't wait to go dress shopping!

I love love love wrapping gifts and doing funky techniques with paper and ribbon, I'd be really sad if I couldn't do something super fun for a good friend or family member. I'm not big on the "OMG its MY day and forget everyone else's feelings" stuff, but seriously, it is about you at least a little bit LOL especially at the bridal shower. If you want a dry shower, do it! If you want a signature cocktail, do it! If you want wrapped presents, do it (I would). No need to justify your choices if your gracious and grateful to your guests! Which you sound like you are, you seem very normal, I didn't mean to insinuate otherwise LOL Good luck!!

Thanks! The jacket gives a little versatility. I thought it was attached, but was pleased to find out it wasn't. The only thing I need to figure out is if I can justify spending big bucks on a second dress. I have plenty of time though...

you know what's funny? my MOM is more upset than I am that more people haven't booked! LOL she's so cute. We're SO far out at this point, but the only people booked are my FBIL (best man) and family (including our adorable little flower girl), my two bridesmaids, and my mom and stepdad! I love the little group that's booked and I keep telling her what an amazing vacation it's going to be with such an awesome little group. Seriously, the only people I really care about being there are going to be there! And we'll come home married and tanned, so whatever!

well, i'm glad the kid's happy, but still... could you give him a card with a note telling him that you're giving him snorkeling, parasailing, or a fun experience during the trip? money towards a down-payment on a car? guitar lessons? ooo, is he trendy? what about custom sneakers? i have some guy friends that drop big bucks on these crazy sneakers all the time and they are so obsessed LOL
