  1. these are great! I wanted something pretty, small, and simple. i hope you don't mind that I'm using yours as inspiration!!
  2. I know this feeling Mishi - definitely feeling insignificant to the family. Hopefully our AHR will be well attended, since we don't have very many people going on the cruise with us. Plus we just found out FI's brother might be deployed during the wedding and that would SUCK, not that it would be his fault at all. But it would be his fifth tour and noone wants him to go over there again. We'll find out for sure in the next few months. I'm praying he won't have to go at all, let alone be gone for the wedding. Love the one year mark! But hate the waiting!
  3. Never mind, talked to her last night! Looking forward to working with her!
  4. My thoughts exactly about the third. I think the first is more flattering to your torso but they're both very pretty, but you can't beat 40% off, especially if you really like it!
  5. 1 & 3 are beautiful! I think I like 1 the best. I'm biased, because I LOVE tiered skirts :-)
  6. Is Patty still the Wright Travel Agency cruise specialist? thanks!
  7. I think it's 35 in the front and 25 in the back here in IL. Iust found out I'm getting a larger tax return than expected so tints and ratchet shifter here I come LOL maybe some of it will go to the wedding fund also. We'll see Here's the ratchet shifter, it basically allows an auto trans to be driven like a manual when you choose. Ahhh I can't wait!! More work for FI tee hee!
  8. Wendy- that's awesome! Can't wait to get tints on the mustang done. They just recently became legal in Illinois so I'm saving up! Tammy- haha so true! How old are your little ones? Fi always wonders what we'll get if were blessed with kids. In true gearhead fashion, he's scared of minivans lol but my old caravan had some pick-up!
  9. Me too Kya! Love the sweets! Keep up your dedication! I've lost 13.8 so far since January, so only like 87 more to go lol (realistically, about 50 more)
  10. Damn, girl, drool is right! My car is all set up for a supercharger but I haven't pulled the trigger yet. Can't wait to see pics of your new toy!
  11. I'm going to hold off. Please feel free to move on to the next person on the list. Good luck with the sale!!
  12. can you please tell me how many of the blue you have? thanks much!
  13. LOL @ mice/elves. I think the mice/elves under my hood have a drinking problem. They guzzle gas like its going out of style. But its worth it to blow by the boys on the street! FI does power washing for a living and he's very rough on trucks too. He's put like 70000 miles on the F150 in two years! And that's only working 9 months/year! He also doesn't get to drive my car because he has a habit of leaving trash and receipts all over the place - bad kid! :-)
  14. Nice choice. Love hearing from other girls who are into cars! There are a few local car mustang club forums around here (used to be a mod for one of them, but it was too stressful), but there aren't a lot of girls around, and definitely not any nice ones like here LOL Mine's a 2007 GT. She has Hooker exhaust, 3.73 gears, pullies, torque converter, lowering springs, some other suspension stuff, custom tune, and a bunch of visual mods (roll bar, blacked out taillights, clear side lights, wheels and tires). I'm pulling about 305 rwhp at the tires. Hopefully after the wedding I'll have some money to add some more go-fast parts :-) FI has a 95 supercharged GT that's putting down about 605 rwhp at the tires. He just got it a few weeks ago (traded his 78 vette for it), so I haven't seen or driven it yet. It's in our storage unit. Any mods done to the boxster?
  15. So I think we have successfully commandeered this poor girl's newbie thread and turned it into our month roll call thread!! LOL Would a moderator be able to move this to the Roll Call forum so it can be found? Just wondering...
  16. Beautiful dress! I've seen some fancy white flip flops that don't look cheap. Brandy found some gorgeous ones with rhinestone starfish on them on etsy. Or you could do fancy schmancy flats like Ashley did: http://www.bestdestinationwedding.com/forum/thread/71461/ashley-s-planning-thread-now-jade-puerto-morelos-pics. Your dress is so long, no one will see! It's ok!
  17. Nice ride, Wendy! I'd love to see pics. I went from storage to the carwash, to autozone for new detailing supplies. I wish I could take her out on those nice days in the winter but the salt on the roads would eat her lol it was almost warm enough to have the top down today but I just couldn't bring myself to do it! :-)
  18. Hey, it's April! That means we're just about at the one year mark! I'm starting to work on a ton of DIY projects- well, just the design portion. Obviously won't be able to do a lot of printing until we have a better idea of a guest count. I think I may have too many projects planned at this point... When are y'all sending invitations? I'm thinking late summer/early fall?
  19. They will NOT think those suck!! I really like the finished product. The colors are well balanced. Can I ask where you got the starfish charms?
