  1. the palm tree is from dafont.com - wm trees1? wmtrees1? something like that! post up when you're done, i'd love to see what you do!
  2. yes, ma'am! here's a file with a bunch of them. For fonts, you'll need scriptina pro, halo handletter, old script, tropicana, wm trees... I think that's all of them LOL monograms for bdw.pptx
  3. FI wanted a bit of bling LOL so we got him a white gold ring with a couple diamonds in it. This pic makes it look like it's two-tone, but its much more subtle in person.
  4. hey, sorry i didn't see this one yesterday! We're getting married on Limetree Beach (Bluebeard's) and having a lunch for everyone at Iggie's Beach Bar at Bolongo Bay resort. We're getting A LOT more for our money by going with Janelle, especially since we have about 22 people joining us! Plus Janelle is 4000x more responsive than the cruise wedding people, who have some of the worst reputations i've ever seen for responsiveness and having their sh!t together. Just my opinion about what I did to keep my sanity through this :-)
  5. I have 25 tote bags for sale. I bought too many! These were originally from the Dollar Tree last year, but they no longer have them on their website. Bags still have tags on them. The size is about 10x14x4. They have a small pocket on the front of the bag. These are smaller than the big boat totes, but they are still big enough for quite a bit of stuff. 6 light pink 6 dark pink 6 blue 7 purple $30 including shipping to US (Canada shipping would be a bit extra)
  6. You're talking 2013, right? There are some specific residency requirements for the Bahamas, i think you have to be in Bahamian waters for 24 hours to get the license. I found the USVI requirements easier to deal with. I can't remember the details about the Bahamian requirements. We didn't book through the cruiseline; we are working with Janelle from Island Bliss Weddings. She's great and her husband is our officiate! We're getting a lot more for our money, IMO.
  7. The nerves are actually starting to get to me! I'm having trouble falling asleep at night, not trouble sleeping, just falling asleep. Can't turn my brain off and so much to think about! But it's fun stuff :-)
  8. We'll be on the Carnival Liberty :-) Have you decided yet?
  9. Thank you, Skygirl! With everything (not including tools or printer), they were just over a buck each. I used a laser printer for them, just a little $60 printer from Staples: HP Deskjet 3050 All-in-One Printer. It's top-loading, wireless, prints from my phone, long-lasting ink and can handle 110# cardstock. Another bride on here gave me the scoop on it, and she saved me!! Saved us a little bit in postage by doing one mailing instead of two! We may do a postcard reminder six weeks out from the AHR...
  10. Hi, we're getting married in St. Thomas while we're on a Carnival Cruise this coming April! we're using Janelle with Island Bliss Weddings as our planner, I didn't want to go through the cruiseline after thinking about all the pros and cons. Congratulations, and welcome!
  11. I'm basically ignoring every RSVP that hasn't booked, until I hear from them or our TA that they are booked, paid, confirmed, etc. I think a gently worded evite reminder wouldn't be out of line, depending on how you word it. I actually had a couple book last week (after they got their bonuses from work), and another couple is booking this week, so maybe it isn't that late? I wouldn't wait this long to plan a trip for myself, but I suppose some people aren't OCD like me :-)
  12. I think the first one is more casual than your dress, if that makes any sense? I think the second is more formal, in a way. Just my opinion... Either of them will look beautiful and tropical in pics! Good luck with your choice - just follow your gut with which one you really love :-)
  13. i'm wearing white flip-flops with a starfish on the strap for the ceremony and lunch reception (bought them from a bride on here a year ago), but I just got these for dinner on the ship and our AHR! Maribelle peep-toes from David's, simple and classic:
  14. holy crap, three months from today I'll be getting married! And my shower is in less than two weeks! I went through the wedding stash in my closet this weekend and took inventory to figure out where I am and what I'm missing. I'm starting to get a better idea of a guest count, so maybe I actually start putting together OOT bags soon! I also ordered my undergarments and dinner/AHR shoes this weekend - can't wait to get them! These are the shoes - Maribelle peep toes from Davids:
  15. Just received some custom hankies from GosiaDesigns. I asked the seller for a few weird things - like having three of a style and the fourth of a different style. She was very easy to work with and there was no language barrier at all. They shipped very quickly too, even with the holidays. I can't wait to give these to my mom and MILs!
