  1. We're ordering custom imprinted champagne glasses. They will be used for the toast at our cake & champagne reception following the beach ceremony. We're also considering paddle or raffia fans for the beach ceremony and Godiva/Ghiradelli chocolate favors in addition to the welcome tote bags & beach towels,
  2. For married cruise wedding brides...what was your experience like with group activities? Did your guests enjoy spending time with you? Or did they end up doing their own thing? Any feedback and suggestions are greatly appreciated. We were thinking of keeping cruise wedding group activities to a minimum so our guests could fully enjoy their cruise vacation. Our events are broken down into "wedding events" and "optional events". We want our guests to have the option to hang out with us if they want to or just go off on their own and enjoy the cruise vacation. Wedding events Rehearsal dinner for immediate family only (specialty restaurant onboard) Ceremony on the beach (morning) Cake & champagne reception (immediately following ceremony) Cocktail reception (later that afternoon) Optional events Pre-cruise dinner meet & greet (out of state guests are flying in the day prior) Bachelor/Bachelorette parties (on board first night of cruise) Breakfast in Nassau (to mingle before exploring) Breakfast in Port Canaveral (to mingle before debarkation)
  3. All the welcome bags look fantastic. Everyone has such wonderful ideas; you've all inspired me to include. We were just planning on doing custom logo printed or embroidered canvas tote bags with personalized beach towels, but now I want to add more. I really like the idea of lanyards for room keys/ID and travel mugs (especially since Disney Cruise Line offers complimentary soda fountains). And about half our group has never cruised before so a survival kit would be handy and useful. Thanks everyone for inspiring me!
  4. Disney Cruise Line is an excellent option. My fiance and I want a first-class experience for us and our guests and DCL is the way to go. We look forward to our wedding next May at DIsney's Castaway Cay. I've heard from past DCL brides who have nothing but the highest compliments about their cruise weddings...both onboard and at Castway Cay.
  5. We're super excited about our cruise wedding...less than 9 months away now. Our group (45 strong) is cruising on the Disney Dream from May 17th to 20th, 2012. The wedding ceremony will take place on the beach at Castaway Cay (Disney's private island) the morning of May 19th.
