Hello Ladies! I FINALLY got in contact with you coordinator 2 weeks ago...and sent her 3 emails. She finally responded to my third email (it only had 2 questions in it instead of 15!) and has yet to respond to the bulk of my questions. Has anyone been dealing with Valeria Vera? She seems nice in her one response but she has been terrible about getting back to me with answers to the rest of my questions. I'll post the questions and responses once I get them. How long have most of you waited to get a response from your coordinators? Am I being impatient or is 1 1/2 weeks- 2weeks too long? Any help would be great! Another question, as many of you, I am looking into bringing in an outside photographer (one that works in the area). I've heard that we need to book outside photographers (or any vendor) a night stay for them to be able to take photos on resort property. I'm working on a pretty tight budget and am trying to figure out if I can "add" him to as a third person to a double occupancy room...aka switch a double occupancy to a triple for one night. Has anyone done this? The other thing I'm trying to do is convince them to allow me to get the photographer only a day pass instead of a night stay (since they're from the area). Has anyone been able to convince their coordinators to allow them to do that? Any ideas would be so helpful! And lastly...I've been reading everywhere that there is an approved photographer list for Moon Palace. Does anyone have this in writing? I'd love to see a copy of what photographers Moon Palace has approved of.

Hello ladies! This may be random- but I was wondering...for those of you who have been at Moon Palace (or any Palace resorts) -- do they give you glass bottles or cans when you get a beer? I'm asking because my fiance and I are starting to think of favors for the wedding (getting married 2/19/11!!) and are considering getting personalized cozies (koozies? I never know how to spell it!). We're trying to figure out which one to get (beer can or beer bottle?). Any help would be great!

Hello ladies! I just got info about my wedding coordinator at MP a few days ago and I have just emailed Reyna to find out more about booking spa services. I'm getting married on 2/19/11 -- she gave us a lot of information! Take a look at the attached documents. You can use a portion of your vacation dollars towards spa services as well! I asked her how the booking process worked -- wanted to make sure I wasn't personally going to be charged for spa services for my guests. She also told me that I can personally book my guests spa services ahead of time -- and they will need to confirm them upon their arrival and let them know how they plan on paying for them (vacation dollars, billed to the room, or credit card). Hello ladies! I'm doing the complimentary package and haven't decided yet on any of the extras. Is anyone here NOT planning on hosting a cocktail hour/reception after the ceremony? My party is going to be less the 35 people so we were planning on just using the dinner reservation that is available with the complimentary package. Haven't decided yet about the cocktail hour -- I was debating b/c technically since MP is all inclusive everyone in the party should be able to drink for "free" anyways at any MP bar....what are your opinions on just heading to one of the bars at the resort after the ceremony instead of paying for a cocktail hour? We are planning a full reception when we get back home (for about 150-175 family/friends) so we're trying to cut our costs at MP since most people won't be there. Any help would be great! Thanks!

Is anyone here NOT doing a cocktail hour and/or reception after their ceremony? My fiance and I are planning a pretty hefty party for when we get back for everyone who wasn't able to make it (which is costing quite a bit!). We weren't planning on paying for any substantial extras at MP -- just wondering if anyone else is doing that or is a cocktail hour/reception the way to go? 2. Has anyone found out more info about the quality of the photographers at MP? We are having a photographer for our at home celebration and haven't decided how big of a package we wanted to get at MP (it's like planning two weddings!). Any info about quality of photographers/cost would be great! Thanks!

One of the things we need to figure out is photography -- we are not going to bring anyone with us and I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with the photographers at MP? What packages did you get? Did the pictures turn out well? We are having an at home reception a few weeks after we get back and are getting a photographer for that -- just curious if we can actually be budget friendly for the cancun photography! Thanks!

I am getting married at moon Palace on 2/19/11 and we just got in touch with the site wedding coordinator to start figuring out all the details. Our plan for MP is to have a very simple and casual wedding -- we will be having an at home reception about 3 weeks later. We have set a photographer for the at home reception since a majority of our families won't be able to make it to mexico. My question is - we are not bringing in an outside photographer for the MP wedding, so I was wondering if anyone here has any experience with the photographers at MP? Are they good? Did you like the photographs they produced? What package did you purchase? Any help with this would be great!
