  1. Your guest will definitely have cameras since technically they are on vacation as well as attending your wedding. I think you will probably get a better chance of people uploading.... though I don't know. I say if you want to do it, do it! LOL Sorry not much help here... I love the idea of giving kids the cameras though!!!
  2. I booked them in November for a June wedding... they have about 5-6 associates, so I'm sure someone would be available for your day. Were you looking to book Paula and Damian or an associate? Also, Paula was very quick to respond in email. Though I emailed her during the work week, so I'm sure you will probably hear from her today.
  3. Congrats and Welcome PurpleUnicorn!! Definitely lots of information here! Have fun exploring! BTW, which resort are you getting married at? Grand Palladium in June here!
  4. For travel, I went through destinationweddings.com to set up the group rates. We're happy with the rates we received, so I don't really know about negotiating....
  5. If you book an associate, it's $300. However, if you book Paula and Damian, I believe the deposit is $500. Both go towards your final payment.
  6. Welcome Natalie!! My advice is to first decide on your budget (not only yours, but your guest as well), then it's on to your destination. If you want a fully all-inclusive resort, that will narrow it down a bit. Anyway, once you have your location, then start researching resorts! I would say get down to about 5, then start getting information on available dates and times for your wedding. Once you book that, it's smooth sailing! LOL Well at least for me it was! That was the most difficult part I say! Good luck!!
  7. For me, that would be too much. Though, it all depends on who you are. If if fits your personality, then I say go for it!
  8. Haha too funny, but so true!!!!! LOL Why did we all choose a mermaid gown?!
  9. Love the date! Should be easy for the soon-to-be-hubby to remember!
  10. I ordered mine from Amazon, but I purchased it in nickel. It's currently not stocked, but I figured I have 5 months before I need it. If I doesn't come in stock after a month, I think I might cancel and find it someplace else. We'll see!
  11. Ordered mine today! I was originally planning on sticking with my wedding colors, but I decided to purchase a variety of bright colors. I figured it will help guest know which is theirs, less mixup!
  12. Again, wishing you all the best misspaige!!!! Can't wait to hear all about it!!!
  13. I ordered our bobblehead today!!!!!!! We should be receiving them in 6 weeks. I will post once I get them!!!! So excited!!!
  14. I knew I definitely wanted the tropical feel, but I basically chose mine by the best setup I found (pic below) and also the BM dress. Since I only have 2 girls standing, we went shopping at department stores instead of bridal salons for their dress to help keep cost down. We ended up finding the perfect dress at Macy's that flattered both of them and was only $60 (the dress we liked at the bridal salons was $160 ea. Great save!). The dress is light pink, so I'm having that as my accent color with the aqua and green below. I'm going to switch out the green hydrangeas for light pink ones!! Good luck choosing your colors!!
  15. Welcome and Congrats!!! I'm a Jamaica bride myself and there are many wonderful resorts to choose from! I'm working with destinationweddings.com for all my travel arrangements and they have been great! To help narrow, I would focus on cost (of course!) and if it's adults only or need family friendly. Good luck!!!
  16. Congratulations and Welcome!!!! Happy Planning!
  17. Ordered my swatches today!!! $2 but shipping was $13. Was going to pass once I saw shipping, but I figured "what the heck"... $99 is a great price for a custom suit and I know I will be getting the color I want!
