$5k in Mexico?!? Wow! Yeah I'm definitely not spending that much! Not even half! I get 8 hrs on wedding day, plus 2 hr TTD. That price definitely seems outrageous!

We hired a photographer in Jamaica. We didn't like the portofolio of the resorts' photographer, but there's a vendor fee if we didn't use him. We're able to avoid this since the photographer is actually paying to stay at the resort! Can't beat that!

I guess they only want you to post invitations in the wedding vendor review section. This is what I was told: "we no longer want those types of posts. if you see, we have not had any on since last year because they are all moved."

I'm not getting married till June, but I have appointments for both hair and makeup. All I know is that they use Revlon makeup. Sorry I couldn't help much, but I have read previous reviews that hair was nice and makeup was good, just sometimes heavy.

Since your wedding is over a year away, I hate to say it, but I say let it go for right now. I don't even think your guest can book flights right now, so that might be a reason why no1 is worried about booking their rooms. People will book, don't worry!

I'm sorry to hear that you're not happy right now with your dress, but what about the dress makes it not flatter your body? What type of dress did you get? I say take a deep breath and just know you will look fantastic on your wedding day!

I know exactly how you feel regarding the people who haven't booked. All my family and friends are booked, but not 1 person on his side! He has a friend and his wife booked, that's it. Everyone needs to be booked by April 1st. We'll see what happens! His brother just got married last weekend, but comeon, they could have at least put their deposit in a long time ago! My biggest issue for my side is trying to get people to book flights. Watching gas prices go up day after day doesn't motivate you to get them now? AAGH! LOL

Not exactly sure who you were asking, but here's what I'm doing... We will be having b/w 40-50 people. We decided on the Waves of Love Package and I'm so excited about it! The price on the website includes everything listed for 8 people. Additional is $20/pp (includes the extra setup, champagne, cake, etc.). If you want a private receptions it's $45/pp (4 course meal w/full bar). Best way to contact is through email. They take a couple days to respond, mostly due to when your wedding is. The closer it is, the quicker response. Island time mon!

HAHA! He gets up about 20 minutes before me every morning and the first thing I do is sprawl out!! Can't wait till we upgrade to a king bed when we start having kids!! LOL
