Hello!!! that was VERY helpful. We are doing our site visit this week at the Fairmont and the Rosewood Mayakoba. We may have our guests stay that the fairmont, do the rehersal dinner there and get married at the rosewood and honeymoon there. I was wondering you had mentioned a room rate of $129 at the Fairmont...what time of year was thet and for how many guests??? we are getting married in May or June of 2011 with aprox 30-40 guests and were quoted a much higher room rate. Just wondering if you did any negotiating? Also, when deciding between the Rosewood or Fiarmont do you have any advice? Do you have any negotiating tips? I do not know what I want to do after dinner??? possibly a beach party with fire pitts and lounge furniture??? Something laid back and less tradational than a typical DJ and wedding dancing. Just wondering if you have any ideas for after dinner activities that are not they typical wedding traditions??? Thanks!!!
