Hi Ladies! Have any of you tried to upload a brochure you made in publisher to vistaprint? I made a full brochure in publisher first then tried to upload it to vista, it is only uploading one side of the brochure. I thought it would be easy to copy and paste the other side of the brochure that I made in publisher, but the font is super small and the formatting is all messed up. AH! Does anyone know anyway around this? Is there some easy way to save the second page of a brochure in publisher? Thanks!

She hasn't emailed me back yet ... I think it would be good to figure out how the ceremony is going to go so I can make programs! How are we supposed to know this stuff?! Just PMd you.

Thanks for the heads up! We now have 3 kids coming and I didn't know until now, so I didn't get a chance to pick up beach toys during the summer. I;m surprised Michaels still has stuff!

Another great find on BTR today. Just bought a dress for our rehearsal dinner. There are 4 super cute white dresses, plus some possible BM dresses at the Sandra Darren sale....All dresses are 44.99! I just ordered the first one

I'm doing luggage tags. I ordered two different business cards from Vista - front and back. I will just glue them together. I bought badge holders from ebay, not luggage pouches because they need to be laminiated, and I don't know what information people want on their tags and with the badge holders people can write their own. I will be using bright ribbon in our colour to attach them. I;m sending them out with our thanks for booking/information brochure that we will be mailing at the end of this month!

Hey JND! Can't wait to see the zombie pics! LOL! I'd love to see your list of excursions too My FI is in charge of planning the excursion, so I will share it with him. For favours, I ordered maracas from amols.com. Just ordered them last week. We are goin gto use them as placecards too, so we are either going to write the name with a felt pen on the maraca or we are going to attach a tag... Not sure about that yet. We are also doing OOT bags with pasminas for the girls, sunglasses for the guys, and the other typical OOT stuff. Have you been able to reserve a spot for your welcome brunch? I asked Rocio about it a few weeks ago and she hasn't gotten back to me. She was really fast communicating for a period of time, now she's not getting back to me again! I asked about having sky lanterns too, so I;m waiting to hear about that. Welcome! The three of us are all getting married within a few weeks of each other! Good luck with your planning!

Phew, gone for a phew days and you ladies have been busy! LOVE the flowers Janet! You must be getting super excited now! Just showed this cake topper to my FI and he LOVES it! Gonna hvae to change it to a Leafs jersey though. You know he is hockey obsessed when he has contacted the resort to make sure that he will be able to watch the World Juniors while we are down there at the sports bar. LOL. I'll check out that seller on Etsy. Hopefully not too pricey! We are doing OOTs and maracas as our placecards - name on one side of tag, shake for a kiss poem on the other. I ordered them a week ago from amols.com. They have a really nice selection. I ordered 36 pairs, 12 in each of our 3 wedding colours. They already say Mexico on them, which I thought was nice. Don't buy the fake ziplock freezer baggies at Dollarama... I learned the hard way! Just opened up the box and they have writing on the front, just like the ziplock ones

Love it, Camy! Question - how did you make your luggage tags? Did you laminate them yourself? Did you write everyone's info in first? Also - I'd love to see what info you have on your pre-travel brochure. I'm getting mine together this weekend. Can you post a pic up close? Or, if you get a chance, share the template?

I agree with the other girls; I think handing them out down there will have more of an impact. Wouldn't you be a little disappointed if you get down there and realize that some people didn't even bring the items after all of the time/effort/money you put into it? As Tori said, some people maybe wouldn't really get the purpose of OOTs until they are down there. The logistics are definitely tough, especially if you have a lot of guests, but I BET it is worth it. Have you seen any other past brides talk about what they preferred?

Everyone's designs look great! How are you putting your luggage tags together, ladies? Are you getting them laminated? Once I get them the business cards in the mail, I'm not sure how I'm going to put them together!

Ahhh!! 3 months to go!! How is everyone doing with their planning? This week has been CRAZY for us as our group booking deadline is Friday and it seems like everyone waited til the last minute to book. We are now at 63 guests. If we get to 68 then we get another free trip!! We gave away our first two free trips to my little sister who is in university and my FMIL who can't afford the trip otherwise, so this free trip would go to US - our reception is 80 bucks a head, so it will basically just cover some of the reception costs. Has anyone sent out a pre-trip letter? Is anyone else thinking about doing this? I ordered some free business cards from Vistaprint to use as luggage tags and I was planning on sending them with some sort of information update/trip tips letter at the end of October. What else are you ladies working on now?

Alright P90 vets I need your advice - My dress fitting was yesterday, and the dress was pulled in as tight as it will go (it has a corset back). The lady at the bridal salon said that I can't lose any weight now or I will need to get the dress taken in through the sides. I still want to continue working out though so that I am toned for the wedding. Should I cut out p90? Should I switch to lean? Should I continue but only work out a few days a week? My court volleyball and ball hockey leagues have started so I am getting in some exercise a couple of days a week with that anyway. I am so happy that I stuck with p90x because I have seen results. I didn't notice personally how much of a difference it made, since I've only lost 5 pounds, but I definitely lost inches, and that was clear yesterday when I tried on my dress. If anyone out there is thinking about doing this program, or you are doing it and thinking about quitting, STICK WITH IT!

Glad your fitting went well! Can't wait to see pics when you do your planning thread! Mine went well too - only need to have the dress hemmed, otherwise I don't need any alternations! That's gonna save some money I felt like they were super rushed at Sinders and I didn't know what was going on. THe lady who was fitting me said that they were really busy so we were going to have to speed up. I was thinking of saying, sheesh I just dropped hundered of dollars on this dress, don't I deserve some time, but I bit my tongue. It turned out that my bridesmaids threw me a SURPRISE bridal shower yesterday and the bridal salon was in on it the whole time - even since the time I booked the appointment apparently! It was a great day!

Way to get back at it, Sharon! I am now on Phase 3. Now that I am back at work, I am only averaging p90 3 or 4 times a week... Not good enough! My dress fitting is on Saturday, so here's hoping it fits

Ladies I feel your RSVP pain! Our deadline is this Friday and we've received about half of them back. Deadline for group booking is October 1st. We will be calling and emailing people as of this weekend. People forget that we still need to PLAN even though it is a DW. Having an additional 20 people book last minute will mean a lot of extra work for us. Frustrating! As for gifts, we are doing OOT bags for all of our guests. At the wedding, we will be using maracas as placecards and favours.
