I think that would be a nice gesture if they're staying through the wedding events. It would be much like a vacation for them too and I'm sure they'd feel very special to be a part of the day as more than the photographer. And then, they may possibly take pictures at your other events if you just invite them, which would be great for you.

I totally understand that feeling! We got that response about people coming to our wedding in Cancun! I understand that everyone can't afford to come, so we decided that we are going to have an informal reception when we come back... But apparently that's not good enough for everyone & they think we're supposed to do something more upscale. But the purpose of not having an at home wedding is to save money, so were not going to spend an outrageous amount of money on the reception. I think people just need to suck it up and shut up! If they don't like it don't come, but who are they to complain about something that they aren't hosting or paying for! Well, hope you get back the response's you want and maybe people will realize that they should keep their simple remarks to themselves...

I think I tried on about 15 dresses... Probably 7 when I went the first time to look for a beach wedding dress... Then we decided to have an at home wedding and I tried on 4... And then I changed my mind BACK to having a destination wedding lol. And I tried on 4 that time but I knew the second dress I tried on was the one.

We are using Juan Navarro for photography. His work is absolutely amazing & the prices are very reasonable! Photography is definitely one of the most important aspects of our wedding, especially since it'll just be the two of us. We are receiving 3 hours of photography on the wedding day with Juan & an assistant, 160 prints total, an album, photo's in high res on dvd,, plus a ttd session the next day for 2 hours with 55 prints and photo's on dvd for $1800. I believe he is well worth the cost, his photo's are great and I have yet to see any bad reviews about him. Good luck!

I didn't think that I had to do much since it'll just be my fiance and I, but I've realized that I have plenty to do! And I have 59 days! 1. Make playlist for songs on my Ipod 2. Get my garter 3. Hair flower - still trying to search through etsy to find the perfect one' 4. Order our sand ceremony kit 5. Finish writing wedding vows - i don't think my fiance has even started his yet 6. Pick up his tux 7. Pick up his wedding band - we picked them out last week 8. My second fitting (and hopefully the last) is on the 20th 9. Find where we're going to have our legal ceremony at home... 10. Go shopping for clothes to take on our trip 11. Make a packing list so we won't forget anything 12. Hair trials - at least 2 more 13. Makeup class - I need to make sure that I can do my own just in case I don't like the resort's spa 14. Confirm all our details with our photographer and wedding coordinator! 15. Start planning our AHR! Haven't even put ANY work into that yet.... YIKES I HOPE that's all we have left to do! Phew....

LOL! I already have some of that and had no clue! I'll definitely be doing that.

I am wearing hot pink heels and my wedding colors are pastels... My flowers will be white, soft pink and orange. I think it'll look nice, but it depends on what colors your flowers are. I wouldn't wear blue shoes if I had red roses, but they don't have to be the exact same color.

These are my shoes! Only for pics basically, can't walk through the sand with them.
