    catererbride- i'm getting married nov. 2012. i know it's still more than a year away. i'm already stressing on getting the vendors, etc. i'm trying to avoid hiring a wedding planner (or if need be i'm only going to hire them as partial). they're so expensive like you said they earn more than the teachers in JA. one was recommended to me by the villa that we booked but she is based in Canada so which means i still have to pay for her to come to JA - on top of her fee.

    Thank you catererbride!! I actually got his name from Caribbean Pantry's website. I emailed him and he responded right back. The only thing is I have to provide plates and serving pans. But you are right, he's way cheaper than what Jamaican planners are charging. Yikes sorry to hear about your dilemma.
