    My theory is if people you wouldn't normally invite want to come (as a few have asked me to). I've told them that the limited factor is people at the reception, so they are welcome to come and take advantage of the group rate - however they may not be able to attend the reception. That way they know ahead of time and won't feel left out, the people I really wanted are still there can still have a more intimate dinner and everyone and can still take advantage of a nice vacation.

    Doing a year ahead is a good idea. I hadn't really thought about that, but there's still time for it! I might have to talk to the DH about that.

    Boo, that sucks to hear a lot of people aren't taking advantage of the website. I was hoping that would be the main source of information.

    Amazing! The travel mugs are a great idea. I remember when we went to Mexico, we wished we had brought our own for drinks to keep them cool and not waste cups!

    Great Idea! Is there any place that sells those mini packages of things in bulk so they're less expensive? (wipes, tylenol etc.?)

    The Newsletter is a great idea, I was going to send out invites and wondering how I could convey all the other information.

    I haven't sent out my invitations yet, and people are emailing me about info already. Hopefully they all book soon!

    I'm being uneven I think (as long as everyone can make it) I think it will be fine!

    I'm giving my girls free reign on picking their dress (as long as its within the colours) so I don't think I'll pay for them, as they can spend as little or as much as they want! I am thinking I may try to recoup some of the costs once I know how much they all spent.

    Mine didn't come shopping with me, but I did show him the pictures from that to help me make the final choices. It was very helpful!

    Are there quite a few great photographers locally? I've seen a few name over and over again, I haven't really started looking yet though. How far in advance should you be booking the destination photographers, and in general are the prices about the same as it would be for a photographer back home?

    Welcome! I'm new and getting married at the Barcelo maya Palace (Is that still considered Tulum? Or is it to far down the coast?). I'm also finding that it it super addicting!
