I kind of did the same thing, found a dress I loved (and couldn't find it anywhere) and while I was trying on other dresses, I could only think of it. So I ordered it online sigh unseen. I hate to say, I'm not sure about it. However I didn't really try on anything like it (there was nothing like it!) so the proportions or something are off. It's a beautiful dress, I'm just not sure how I feel about myself in it. That being said, if I wouldn't have ordered it, I'm pretty sure I never would have love another dress as much. I'm hoping to go to a seamstress and I'll feel better about it.

I'm in the same boat. Mine came in yesterday, and it just does seem flattering to me. Also there is something weird going on with the chest cup area. I'm *hoping* that it could be fixed by tailor, I'm kind of tempted to put it up for sale and see if I can sell it though. I still have lots of time (which is why I ordered it so early), I'm just not feeling it. =( I don't have any pics, I'll try to take some this weekend.

I ordered mine through Netbride. It was about $300 cheaper than a bridal salon here, but still a designer original. It should be in tomorrow, but they were good to deal with. I have the exact same problem!! I just bought a pair of jeans tonight, and they are a size 2, yet I had to order my dress in a size 10 to meet my chest measurements. I also tried on a bunch in store, and was in love with one and ordered it sight unseen. It should be in tomorrow or the next day. So exciting!!

I think it would be fine. I'm sure no one will be bringing their Invitations with them and comparing I like the eclectic look better too! Same colour or theme would be lovely!

We have been dropping hints for years - that we didn't want a big wedding and would probably go somewhere. They were thrilled! my mom and his parents don't really travel, so they are really excited to go.

The Big Photo was my general inspiration, then I found the individual photos here while googling green orchid with yellow bouquet. Lol. I LOVE it. Only I don't really like roses. Any other suggestions for a fun pop of yellow?

That sounds AMAzING Mel! I can't wait to see some of the photos! How was Coral Beach in terms of privacy for your ceremony? Would you have preferred to do it on the beach by the Playa Azul area instead?

From my experience, my TA has been amazing. They found us a really good rate, and answer all my bazillion questions. They made us a website, will arrange for a limo to pick us up to take us to the airport when we leave for our wedding, take us out for coffee whenever we meet. Additionally they have been in contact with the resort thus far for us, and forwarded us all information from the wedding coordinator. I've heard horror stories about never hearing from the wedding coordinators, but I've never tried to contact them, and I've probably gotten about 5 emails from them through the TA's. I'm sure there are bad TA's (I had a terrible real estate agent once and it took until a friend made a great recommendation until I trusted them again!) So do that, ask people around for reviews, meet them, don't sign and contracts, and if they seem terrible, don't feel obligated to book!

Did you ask about other outside vendors Brenners? Florists, decorators etc? I believe it's been said somewhere in here too (man, can you tell I've been reading this thread for a while ?) That some people opted to do the two night thing instead of $300 fee and day pass. I know my photog is staying the night so we can do a TTD the next day. It might be cheaper for me to do the two night things. Is that still an option?

Seems to me that the outside vendor fees only applied to the photographer, because they have a contract with the Photo company. I know I've heard (earlier in this thread) that people have used Planner1 Events and other outside services for decorating, flowers etc. and they weren't charged any outside fees. I don't even think they needed a day pass. I'm at work so I don't have time to search back, might be worth taking a search of this thread though!

Regardless of whether you book a wedding or not, you will probably have to pay the outside photographer fee if you are planning on bringing one in.
