  1. Does anyone know how I can find a local reggae or steel drum band in Cancun? The reggae band through Dreams is so expensive. I have tried looking online and I'm not having any luck. Any suggestions? Thanks! Christine
  2. That's what I keep hearing too, that its really windy. I am thinking the petals will blow away in the wind! I wonder about the aisle runner, if that stays down on windy days....Does anyone know if you have to use the red one? Our package says it includes a red one, but, I don't want red at all. And, I've seen posts about adding the sound system for the ceremony cause of the wind, is it really that windy up there? We have a small group, and half of them are in the wedding, so, I'm just contimplating if I should add it or not.
  3. Hi! We are getting married at the gazebo - I want to put silk flowers on the carpet leading to the gazebo....Has anyone done this? I guess my question is, is it too windy? Will they just blow away? Also, we reserved the honeymoon suite, any idea what this room looks like? I can't find much info on it.... Thanks a bunch!!!
  4. I am still new at using this site, where do you find other bride's reviews on Dreams Cancun?
  5. Hi - I am in the same boat as you with the bouquets. Have you found any info out?
  6. Thank you so much for your reply! I finally after months of going back and forth between whether we were going to get married at home, or away, then where, then what was available, got everything booked. Now I am down to these sort of details and feel lost. I will check that thread out - & that is a great idea with throwing out the cocktail hour for the added people of the reception. I did check on the photography and it looks like the resort uses Juan Navarro - his photos look great! I emailed him directly and he said that the package covers 120 mins, ceremony, couple's photos, and group shots. I think I'll be adding some time on also cause I like the photos of getting ready before the ceremony and some for the reception also. Thanks again & good luck with your planning!
  7. Hi everyone! We are getting married at Dreams Cancun on April 29th, 2011. I was wondering if anyone had any insite on the Dreams Ultimate Wedding package. We are having approx 30 guests. Are there other things that I should consider adding to it that are not included? And if anyone knows which beach is nicer for the reception, Himatsu Beach or Caribe Beach are the two available. I would appreciate any responses, help, ideas, suggestions...Thanks!!!!
