Ugh...as of right now we just booked a Caicos King in the Caribbean Village......I am going for legth of stay versus a higher category room, for now. I might change my mind in the next year..lol!!! Im hoping we get upgraded, so im gonna wait and see how many rooms we book, then go from there...How long are you staying for???

For any of you girls that are doing the private reception...how are you handling the first dance?? Are you going with a dj or ipod? Ideas and suggestions needed!! We just want to do the ipod....but how would u do the first dance? sigh.....

Hey girls, So I am definitly going to deposit today (yay!) But i wanted some input on what room everyone choose, and also what village they are in. Also, what village are the majority of your guests staying in, and do you plan on staying in the same one? I feel like the Italian Village is way to expensive, the French is set farther back, and Caribean is older but more up by the beach...any thoughts? Look foward to hearing form everyone!

Hey girls.. So I have been looking at the Beaches website and right now for Jan 2012 the price for 7 nights in a HoneyMoon Caicos Premium King (without airfare) is $4400 .....Is this a good price??? Should i book now or do you think better deals will surface in the future?? We really aren't in a rush to book, but i want the best deal possible. I asked my TA said the beast deals are the furthest ones out, and we are at a year in advance right now....Oh man, help me girls, i am nervous!!!! Thanks!!!

These are fantastic!!! Only one question for you...I was under the impression that you couldn't really bring in your own stuff as they dont let you set things up yourself....are they charging you a set-up fee to do this? Thanks in advance for any tips/advice you might haveregarding this. I will also do BB, but the prices of the flowers are way to steep for me to justify paying. (Especially since i am a floral designer here in NJ and get everything at whole sale prices!) The only thing i think i will upgrade is my bouquet, because i am a flower snob and i MUST have a fresh bouquet!!!! Thanks, talk to you soon!!

when and where is your wedding? Peony are very seasonal and expensive, and may be hard to get in certain areas. Hydrangea is available year round in the states, but depending on your location you could have issues getting it (like me in turks and Caicos). Defintly find out what is available around your date and location and that could help narrow your choices when it comes to fresh flowers

Have you been to a TA??? I have not booked yet but went and saw my TA and she sent me home with a boatload of info. I do believe everything does look pretty close if not exact to the pics. Remember they are flowers though and sometimes they have to sub something if they cant get it or if it comes in looking crappy. But from the pics of other girls weddings they do seem to look pretty exact. Your TA can give you brouchers that have all the MS themes in them and also a seperate booklet of just bouquets. I have the wedding kit in my email, if you dont have it let me know and i can email it to you. That has all the prices concerning photography, dinner options, and more.

Eric Riperts restaurant in the Ritz is AMAZING!!!!! Definitly splurge and eat there!!!! I also second the trip to Stingray City, very cool experiance.

One reason we chose to do the destination wedding was b/c we didnt want alot of people there!!! I dont want anyone there who doesnt really know me, ya know? That was really important to us. My dad actually said something like he feels cheated b/c of all the weddings of kids of his friends he had to go to and give a gift, and now they wont be able to do the same!!! And that was exactly what i dont want. Its not about the gifts, its about us and the people we love So to answer your question, the people that we REALLY want there are totally on board!!! Most say they would never have the chance to go to T&C, andd this is there chance! The only person probably not going is my brother, but hes okay with it since we will have an AHR later in the summer.

I totally found BDW by accident! I was looking on info/pics of weddings done at Beaches T&C (which is NOT easy to find), when this website came up in a search. I got more info about Beaches T&C here, then anywhere!! I wanna know why everyone choose Beaches/Turks for their wedding!!! Here is my story... We decided on a destination wedding about a month after engagement...I went to a TA and told her my only requirement is AMAZING BLUE WATER!!!! We talked about the Caribbean, then she dropped the bomb on the price to me. So then we talked about Mexico. She sent me home with a boatload of brouchers, prices, and info. I went to Cayman a few years ago and the water was awesome, then we went to Mexico and the water/beach was so dissapointing. So the question became do I go with the less expensive/not great beach or more expensive/amazing beach?I went with the water :)The best part is, when i asked the adive of my closest friends, they were all so awesome, and said do Turks, go with your heart. They said they would all come b/c they wouldnt miss it for the world, regardless of price, and when would they ever have the chance to go to Turks again! Love them!! As far as choosing Beaches, allowing kids and all-inclusive sealed the deal for us! We really want everyone to be able to come, stay at the same place, and enjoy each others company!
