Everytime i have been on vaca, my mani never lasts from being in the water all the time....once i even got clear polish put on and even that just pealed off after being in the water...i would get it done there, or get it done before you go, so the shape is nice and cuticles are clean, but bring remover and polisher with you to re-do the morning of your wedding if you dont want to go get a profesional one,

I was originally going to do boarding pass invites, but once i went to my invitation girl, i changed my mind immediatly!! The picture to the left and the center invite are mounted onto cocoa paper, then mounted onto bamboo woven paper. The photo on the left pocketfold and the map on the 'location card' she scanned in from the Beaches Brochure. the 'accomodations' card is not yet finished, but will basically talk about the resort, what is included, ect, then have my TA's info at the bottom...I love them! Brandy, I cannot wait to hear eveyrthing when you get back!!! We also are gonna do the 2 or 3 hr reception, and i would love to get the calypso band!! I am interested to hear about the flow of the reception, and if the band is need for 2 hours or if one is enough, and if so which hour should it be?...Those questions are buring whole in my brain! I ordered my dress! Yipee..i posted pics in the Maggie Thread...i love it! So glad i did it now though, wont be in until Sept, then with all the fall/winter holidays who knows how long alterations will take!

I haven't, dont know if i am going to to, but i still have time so who knows! I am stuck on this issue, im not sure if i wanna spend that kind of money, even though the pics are amazing. We are going back and forth to be honest with you. I definitly dont wanna do a trash the dress, but just want some pics of us and our family. Ill keep you posted, lol!

FYI--I live in Philly and bought my dress at Irmas Bridal in Cherry Hill....i was pretty happy with them, i went there 3 times to try on the same dress, they had a great selection of gowns at reasonable price points!! But overall a good experiance. I also went to Aimee Michelle Bridal in Cherry Hill, Fran was great, but i ultimitly bought my Maggie at Irmas. Both had a great selection of Maggies. Hope that helps, it is easier to dress shop in your area i think.

I honestly dont think these prices are that bad. I am a floral designer in South Jersey, and none of our brides boquets are under $100!!! You gotta remember there is labor involved, and cost of supplies.. I do think a bouqet of bouganvilliea would be very pretty, if your okay with pink. Hope that makes you feel a little better

Do you girls know if when you get your dressd hemmed, does it take length off the train as well as the front?

I love it, and the train, but i understand where you are coming from...i may shorten mine a bit too... QUESTION--When you get your dressed hemmed, mine is way to long, does that take length off the train to or just the front?

Thanks girls I went back and forht betwen a long and short dress, but i wear short dresses all the time, and whenever will i get a chance to wear a long lace gown again? Im so happy with it, when i see it in pics i have no doubt in my mind it is the one, now only i could have it sooner than Sept...boo!! @Destbride34---is champagne/ivory the same as gold/ivory? Just wondering b/c the lady at the salon said technically it is gold, but in the salon they call it champagne (maybe not to scare the girls, lol) whatever...any color named after my favorite drink is fine with me! The only thing i dont love is the brooch inside the flower, it is literally just that, a pin with rhinestones, so i am gonna try to find a small vintage brooch that has more pearls, less rhinestone to relplace it with.

We are lookin to have about 25-ish, i think...we will see if the people who say they are coming actually come though I heard awhile ago, like last year, that is you had 20 people for the sit down dinner that they would then let your guests have a choice meal...this could have changes though, so double check on it for sure..

Thats what i am wondering...is beter to talk to Monica directly, or go through the TA? Will there prices match up? Who knows!!! We are also leaning towards the 2 or 3 hour reception on the boardwalk area, depends on how big the group is...I have seen the menu options when comparing buffett to plated, and i thin we might go plated, but i have to have some options there as my Dads wife is allergic to shellfish, and i dont wanna have to pick what someone eats. I have heard if you have over a certain amount of peole they will let your guests have a choice of meal, so we will see. I am not gonna start going nuts over this stuff untili get a REAL idea of our guest count. How many people are in your group, and where are you planning on having your reception at?

Hey ! What days are you staying at the resort?? We fly in on the 18th and leave on the 28th! 10 days yipee!!! Do you have a TA? I do, and we havent even begun to discuss any details, nor do i think i will have to talk to Monica directly, i believe they will do that for me. I am not sure if this is a good thing or a bad thing, with all the price changes and all. I actually had asked my TA for the updated kit a few weeks ago, and she didnt even know there was a new one. I think EVERYONE is confused by all this. Thank goodness i have you girls, I actually did get the 4pm time slot that day, what about you? Also, are you doing a reception? If so, what are your plans regarding that? Keep me posted!!!
