LOVE IT ALL!!!! I just printed different labels for my first aid kits....GARBAGE!!! I am going to use yours!!! Can you give me a little more info on the chapstick? Did you print the labels yourself, or use Vista Print or another program??? What size labels are they? Thank you in advance!!!

Hey girls----2 questions today!! 1--Did any of the past brides get any freebies based on total # of rooms booked? If so, what? 2-I am going to go with the plated dinner-is a 'cocktail hour' included in this, or is this a seperate thing/price??? I am confused.

You can get married on the beach...that boardwalk area is more for the reception. Your other options for the ceremony are the gazebos. If you get married on the beach though and are having the BB theme, no stucturetobe married under or chairs are included, just an FYI.

They should just stay at the resort, and someone should just stay behind to watchtthe kiddies the day/night of the wedding....Beaches also does offer babysitting services...

I made the labels for my first aid kits!! They came out great!!! The labels are a tad bit for the kit, but nothing a little trim wont cure! I'mon my way girls!!

I still haven't bought ANYTHING for my wedding yet, besides the dress and invites of course.....however i did find Essie nail polish called Turquiose & Caicos that will definitly be going in the OTT bags. I did pick my menu out, but was then told by my MIL that some of the cousins coming are Kosher, so now i have to change the menu...sigh.

My mother in law informed me today about 8-10 of our guests are kosher....there goes the crabcakes!! I emailed my WC at my TA's office with some hope that maybe they can give us another appy option that ismkosher besides the mushrrom....kep your fingers crossed for me girls....so dissapointing, lol.

I sent out my invites in April/May...cant remember, May i think, with an RSVP date of Sept 21. I have gotten about 1/2 of the responses back, i sent out 40. We just got menu options, and picked that out last night, it was so easy, lol!!! @Ginny --I thin a long as you give your guests a god amount of time and all the info they need Email would be the way to go go...Verbally is okay to announce it, but there is definitly some info they need and that they would probably refernce like hotel, travel agent, treavel dates, that itmight be easier for them if it was written down in an email. Hey Jaykay...kinda wierd you have to pay to switch your flight seat . We flew continental a few months ago, and our original seats were the last row next to the bathroom, gross...We just went on continental.com entered in our reservation number and we were able to change our seats to whatever was available...I wonder if you can do this if you go on the Transat Air website? Like, is the TA just charging you to do it, or is the airline acutally charging ? Find out. $30 bucks is $30 bucks!

That's exactly my thought...and my health...its hard to exercise seriously when your pack a day smoker....I say a David Tutera episode of my fair wedding one time and he said.."Brides don't smoke." It really stuck with me...none of the brides i work with are seen with a cig on thier wedding day... Kya...do it when your ready! Ive still been having my wine at nite, no butts though...and practically everone coming to Turks with us doesn't smoke. so really i would be the only one. That makes it a little easier for me

Thanks for responses regarding the menu girls!! Im just waiting for my TA to send over the menu so we can start making some real desicions! YAY!!! I have been pretty good about not stressing out....but quitting smoking, moving, unpacking, dealing with the cable people, work, dieting all in one week can definitly send a girl over the edge!!! Deep breaths, the patch, werthers original candies, my dog, my FI (when he isnt getting the wrath of Liz not smoking) a good book, the beach, are gonna get me through this...lol!!!!

I live in NJ and we have a bunch of the 'outlet shops' by us...The Perry Ellis outlet has beautiful suits/seperates at amazing prices. If you have one by you go check it out, i saw a light-weight biege suit that would be perfect for a DW, just gotta get FI over there to try it on!!! They also have very nice/ classy resort wear for men!! Has anyone else been looking at room rates lately??? They have gone up about $150 since we booked in Jan....yuck. Thank god i hounded certain people to book early, even before invites went out. The only plus is airfare to Turks from NJ has gone down about $150, so i guess it all equals out....ugh....I am really trying not to even worry about it...People will be there if they want to be there. I talked to my WC last night, everything went well..She is ready to rock and roll...wants us to fill out paperwork and start getting all that stuff together, i just need FI to get his new NJ drivers license and we will be ready to begin. I am sticking with the BB package, we want to get married at one of the gazebos, and the 2 hour private receptin and i will just add on certain things like flowers for all the tables and the band. She is sending me over menu options to start looking at....QUESTION FOR THE MARRIED GIRLS----What 2 menu items did you pick for the main dinner?? I know you all have said everyting was amazing, but i just wanted some more opinions...Our group is full of 'foodies', so i just want to make sure we pick some awesome dishes!! Thanks in advance!

I am happy to report that my in-laws have moved out and we are fully moved in...YAY!!!!! So happy!!! We had a few crazy stessful days....Smart me decided to quit smoking on move in day, so that created a few stessful moments between me and FI, but we got through it....Verizon decided not to show up to connect my cable on our appt day....so they really got the wrath of Liz...lol!!! But all is good now, we got cable, AND we are back to sleeping in the same bed after almost a month of me in PA him in NJ, then us both in NJ but him on the couch and me in spare room....Yipee!!! So now for the wedding stuff.....Talked to WC provided through the TA again....she is ready to rock with getting all the paperwork done. I just need FI to go get his NJ license and we can start. Room rates at Beaches have gone up about $150 since we booked, but airfare has also gone down about that much so guess it all equals out in the end I have been looking for shoes to go with my dress lately, i know i want gold, but i dont really remember what my dress looks like 100%. Im also not sure if i want big heels, little heels, or flats....ugh desicions, desicions. This kind of sucks because i want to buy shoes soon, since it is summer here, and i want to make purchases gradually. Also, we have a bunch of Outlet Shoping Plazas here, and just an FYI, Perry Ellis has beautiful suits/seperates for the boys at very, very resonable prices...If you have one by you definitly check it out!! Also, got an email today from the WC including all the inportant documents we need to get, and a whole bunch of stuff to fill out and get notazied ...YAY! I dont realy understand it all or know what to do, but it is important, and its a step in the right direction!!
