  1. Bumping this....I would be willing to bring the price down some !
  2. Brand New Maggie Sottero Harlow wedding dress. Original Tags still on it, never altered. Size 14, has corset back, beautiful champagne lace over light god satin. Very romantic, vintagey, but still beachy beacuse of the flower detail under the bust.
  3. I picked up my dress yesterday, and did not recieve the certificate of autenticity...did anyone actually get one of these? My main reason for asking is that i might try to sell the dress, and am thinking that may be a good thing to have if i do..thank you.
  4. I saw on Facebook the Beaches will not be open for Sept They will start recieving guests again on Oct. 6.....So sorry for any of you getting married there during this time...I live at the Jersey Shore and we had two weddings for last weekend and both were cancelled due to evacuation orders, we had thousands of dollars worth of flowers just sitting in our fridge, which we eventually donated to the hospitals yesterday.
  5. The next couple months are going to fly by!!!!!!!! I cant beleve it is practically Sept already....The only thing we have done lately is find our actual OTT bags....we found them on a midnight run to the supermarket to get bottled water for the impending hurricane last Friday night...They were $4.99 each, striped canvas big beach bags, found on clearance at A&P...will take a pic soon to share. My dress hasn't come in yet, but thats okay, i wanna puxh those fitting off til i lose another ten pounds
  6. Thanks Brandy...I am so confused....lol....emailing TA now. thanks again
  7. Hey girls... I'm super confused... If I book a 3 hour dinner, is the cocktail hour included in that 3 hours or is it an hour cocktail hour than a 3 hr dinner for 4 hours total?? Help por favor!
  8. We payed almost 600 a ticket back in January, and now they are about 400-450 i think....boo.
  9. I just got home from doing Week 5 Day 1 of couch to 5k, and i love it!!! I quit smoking about started exercising, then started this program, (i have the iphone app)...i have never really exercised before, and never been in a gym, so for me to be doing this is a huge deal!! I highly reccomend it, but the thing is each workout is only about 25-30 minutes, and they recomend only 3 times a week, so at that pace you wont burn enough calories to lose weight, so it is more fore building endurance. So i do the C25K workout, then keep going for about another 1/2 hour, and on 'rest' days i still work out by doing sprints, squats, and other tortureous exercises
  10. Hey ladies...whats' going on wth everyone!! Seems like summer is a slow time around here....I have still really done nothing, i have picked up a few things for the OTT bags, and i got my MOH a beautiful straw purse yesterday, and thats it lol..I just started the shoes hunt since my dress will be in next month, but other than that my days mostly consist of work, beach, garden, pool, and anything else that can be done outside and that is not wedding related On a side note, i did meet with my TA about a month ago and we went over some stuff. We have hit 11 rooms, so we are starting to get some free stuff. We will have a welcome dinner at Marios on Friday night, and we also moved our wedding reception to an area by Schooners that is more roomier than the boardwalk area by the beach. I am still waiting to hear back from my TA regarding menu options for some of our guest. We are havinf the 3 hour sit down dinner, which once you book 11 rooms goes from $75 to $60. We have people in our group who are vegetarian, kosher, and allergic to fish, so this has been the biggest pain in the but for me, making sure they all get something they can enjoy. I still have not decided on music. I have to see where we are budget wise, but i would love to have the steel pan player for an hour and the band for 2, but we will see on that. Also, my TA just emailed me the other day about some pictures she is trying to get for me. She is having a hard time getting them she said because Monica is no longer there, Just an FYI for any of you who have been using her as your contact.
  11. LOVE!!! I have tried on so many pairs like this, and i love them, but i feel like the straw-like wedge just doesnt go with my lace dress They are so cute though...sigh...
  12. Beautiful! Well done!! Very classy
  13. I started the shoe hunt today!!! No luck though!! All the little wedges i seem to find (that are gold) are too rough/edgy looking for my lacey girly dress.....Going to go look again tommorow, after that its internet shopping!
  14. I bought it at the pharmacy here in NJ, i think Rite Aid, and i just bought a Coppertone 50 with Zinc Oxide in it at Rite Aid the other day since i have been jogging by the ocean every morning and i am getting WAY to tan...and wanted higher coverage. I wont put the coppertone on my fave, so i use that on body and Blue Lizard on face. I you dont have Rite Aid, try a health food store, they always have the natural products that are chemical free
  15. I also count calories, and just recently started running, but i use the iphone app Lose It! It is so easy to use and i love that it is always in my purse! I am down about 6 pounds so far, but like i said i also started exercising like crazy...I started Couch to 5k and and now i am on Week 3 Day 2, and i love it!!! i would definitly reccomend it to anyone who wants to run but doesnt know where to start like me...Two months ago i smoked cigs and was attached to the couch, then one day i woke up, quit smoking, starting diet/exercise and my journey begin...Even though my weight loss number isnt high yet, i wanna lose 25 pounds, i know it will be!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Good luck everyone !!!!!!!!!
  16. look for sunscreens that have zinc oxide in them, they are the best for you, my dermo reccomends blue lizard, i have been using it on my face for a few years now and love it... http://www.crownlaboratories.com/bluelizard/why.html
  17. I am not getting married at you resort, but i am kind of dealing with the same thing...We have a vegan, a vegetarian, 7 people who dont eat shellfish (kosher), and one little girl who is deathly allergic to fish, sesame, and un cooked eggs. I am getting married in Jan, so i just made sure i gave my TA plenty of time to get extra menu options to accomodate everyone at our dinner. The rest of their stay at the resort is thier problem, lol.... People will always have alergies and dietary restrictions and i generally thinks AI resorts know this and have enough options available to make everyone happy
  18. YAY!!! We are up to 22 adults (including us) and 4 kiddies!!!
  19. Dont worry, all i have done is ordered a dress!!! I thought i made labels for first aid kits, but not i dont like them and want new ones lol!! Oh, and my MIL got us nail-polishes for the OTT bags, they are aqua Essie named Turquiose and Caicos And i did get some mini hand sanitizers from bath and body named Carribean Escape...but thats it!! lol!! I seriously care way more about my yard/gardens than i do about the wedding right now!!! I will deal with the wedding after Labor Day and just order everything on line then !
  20. Love the compass idea...I have been toying with the idea of getting the latitude longitude cordinates on something....this might be a good idea!
