I don't know...my Fiance is living in crazy town. He wants to do March, but March is more expensive then Jan (I checked it today). So changing to March to save a few extra bucks in those couple months doesnt even make sense. Im still in my head thinking Jan. We are gonna deposit on our room this Jan, so i gues we have til then to decide. I'm cool with what-ever at this point. Ugh. LOL.

Just got an e-mail from my TA saying Continental will be flying NONSTOP to Turks via Newark starting in Feb 2011!!! YAY!! She also priced it at $444, which is fantastic!!! Just thought I'd share the news to all present and future brides!

i would sooooo normally say the flower as it is a beach wedding and all.....but the tiara stole my heart!

I work @ Bonnett and Mallard every weekend, I do floral design there! It is beautiful! The Molly Pitcher is also lovely, if you need any help with vendors let me know, we all know each other very well and I could make some reccomendations if you like! Most of the same vendors that do Bonnett also do Red bank.

Have you looked in the flowers forum? I see that alot fo girls get the real touch or even clay boquets. They are very nice,and look very real. The flowers are redicuosly expensive, but the more i think about it, the more im am probably just gonna get the fresh. Flowers are something that mean so much to me!

My TA e-mailed me the weddin kit...is this what you have? I havent looked at it in a while so i dont remember ever seeing that, but what a great bonus!!!

I checked this a.m. and I can open attachments!!! WOOHOO!!! Let the DIY project craziness begin! We havent booked yet, gonna it in Jan, which is at least a year in advance so I think thats okay. If we don't get a 4 pm ceremony time though my FH is dead, since he is the one really making me wait!! LOL...And I am toatlly not gonna stress over the reception area....you are totally right about everything!!! I hadn't heard about the 10 rooms booked/free rehersal dinner...let me know about that. That would be great!!!! How long are you staying for?? And how many days will you be there before and after your date?? I cant wait for the other girls to get married so we can see pics, it seems they are so hard to come by

Hey and about the welcome dinner......how many guests are you having??? We are looking at 20+, and if they wont do a reservation the night of the wedding for this many people, will they do it a few nights b4 for a welcome dinner? What are you planning on doing??? Maybe welcome cocktails is a good idea since you dont have to reserve space at the bar !

Brandy, About the location....I know Beaches does alot of weddings a day, so what happens if we wait to choose a location for dinner until we get there and all the good sites are gone??? Do you think they do that many upgraded dinners a day as they do weddings? This will give me anxiety than the flowers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Im not sure about flowers I really want fresh so I might bring a silk hydrangea with me and wire and tape all the individual orchids form the beautiful begin boquet and put them over the silk hyd. to make a round boquet. This would hide the silk hyd. I am a floral designer and my boss is def coming so it might sound like a lotta work, but we could have it done in 10 min, Or, I might do the broach boquet (pics posted in the flowers forum).We just had a photag use it in a photoshoot the other day so I will post prof pics of the finished product when i get them. Or, i might spluge, it will break my little floral designer heart, and buy one of the MS boquets. This kills me!! See, at my job we only do high end weddings. The only thing i have ever thought about when it comes to my wedding is what boquet i would carry, So bummed i dont have the selection i have here, but i guess the location makes up for it!!!!!! Also, talked with FH today and we are thinking about doing March 2010 now, but not sure! We are going to move back to NJ in May, so this gives us a few extra months to save since we wil be spending money on the move. We aren't sure yet though!!! We are pretty casual, and aren't in a huge rush, so we will see what happens. Also Jan temp 80...March temp 82....those two extra degrees make me happy!!! Don't think i am going anywhere though...I am now a BDW girl for life!!! PS...I hit 150 posts on Monday and still nothing...it's driving me bananas!!!!

We are planning on having a 2-3 hour sit down dinner. I love the boardwalk area too! Im not sure how many people it holds or even if they do the sit down dinners there!! I see couches in the pics so im wondering if this is more of a cocktail reception area? Any thoughts or info!!! Where are you guys doing dinner if you plan on doing one of the upgraded receptions?

My boss made this one, it was actually used in a photoshoot last week!!! Woohoo!!! The finished product looks amazing, The next one to be made is a beach themed one, with more blues and starfish broaches, and more shells. We are thinking of selling them on ETSY, which is why i posted it here to see what the reaction is! I think i may carry some sort of version of this!!!
