So I am having some WC issues I had Pilar as my Miami WC and I e-mailed her Feb 15 and never heard a reply so I re-e-mailed her March 15 thinking that she just did not get my e-mail. Well instead of getting a reply from Pilar, I got one from Geraldine Flores. She said that Pilar is no longer with their company! I guess it's not that much of an issue but I was just surprised to hear that! But anyway one of the questions I asked in the e-mail was regarding choosing locations (I had asked Pilar earlier and she said what the rest of you were told - that I would have to wait 2 - 3 months prior to my wedding to talk to the onsite coordinator). Well I wasn't comfortable with that answer because one of the main reasons I wanted to have a destination wedding was so that we could get married on the beach and I would be sooo upset if someone else came along and got that site before I did. So I asked again if there was anyway that I could at least reserve the ceremony site and Geraldine told me that she was forwarding my request to the onsite coordinator for further assistance!! So I'm crossing my fingers that this will actually happen and I will get my locations locked in! You all should try asking again! This is what I asked (her reply is in blue): I know you said we weren't able to reserve our locations until 2 -3 months prior to our wedding with the onsite coordinator. I am just getting nervous that I won't be able to have our ceremony on the beach and that is one of our main reasons for having a destination wedding. Is there any way we could reserve at least that part now? Please be advised that I am forwarding your request to the onsite coordinator for further assistance.

I love those! They look really pretty! I wanted to do something just like that but my reception will most likely be outside and I was worried about wind blowing out the candles! I love how they look though!!!

I like them! I also like that you would do a combo place card holder/favor/shake to see B & G kiss!! cute! I was considering doing maracas for a favor as well, I wanted to do something Mexican. Not too sure though...I think I may do personalized shot glasses and have them filled with tequila for everyone to do a shot together! haha.. But there's still lots of time to decide. 6.16.2012

I have already sent out most of my STD's and have been getting responses!!! So far I have 15 people (not counting us) that have said they are going!!! I ordered my STD's before I had my date reserved . I got magnets from Vistaprint and I typed up a letter to go with them. I also put my website info on the magnet and the letter so people are tentatively RSVPing on the website.

Congratulations!!! I want to go through La Luna too and hopefully have a TTD with Del Sol...they are expensive but I think their pictures are amazing and they get really beautiful shots! For La Luna I was going to go with Melissa but she's not available for my day (June 16) so I will probably go with Jonathan. They all have really nice pictures so I think whichever one you choose to go with will do a fantastic job!!!

If you do a package other than complimentary then you do have to put money down. I am doing the complimentary package and I still had to fill out a form with credit card information, just in case of cancellation.

I am getting married in June 2012 and Pilar, in the Miami office, told me that I can't block rooms until June 2011 because they don't have the rates yet. I would reserve your date ASAP!

Mine is Pilar. So far she has been answering my e-mails pretty quickly and she seems helpful. Hopefully it continues!

I am doing that so I can mix and match what I want; but on the "charge authorization form" there is a spot for a deposit payment and the final payment... I am sure they need a credit card number just in case of cancellations. I am just leaving those two lines blank, did anyone else do that?

I faxed my reservation form on Monday evening and I started to get worried because I didn't hear anything from them yet and all of you guys were getting your dates confirmed! So, I e-mailed Pilar in the Miami offices again and asked her if she got the form I sent and when I should expect to know about my date. First she e-mailed me back saying that she had not received anything from me yet! I was having a heart attack thinking "Oh no! Now I won't get my date because they didn't get the form!!!" Then she sent me an e-mail saying that they had received the form and it was just "pending authorization from the minister." Is that what they said to you guys? Or did they say you for sure have your date? I'm still a little nervous...Crossing my fingers tho!

That's so exciting! Congrats! How long did it take for you to hear from them?

I just got a response from the e-mail I sent - she sent me the reservation request form also. I am just about to print it and fax it over! Excited!!! She told me "Please be informed that we are not reserving weddings for 2012 yet, but were informed that within the next week or so, they will begin booking weddings. Attached please find the reservation request form and we will hold on to the form until we could book weddings for 2012." So I am assuming that their website will be updated within the next week or so...but you know what they say when you assume!!

My mom has a membership with the palace resorts and we had called them to get some info last year - they had us call the Miami office and we were given her e-mail address then. I will definitely let you know when I hear anything. I am not expecting a quick reply though from what a lot of the other posts say!
