    Thanks ladies. I'm so happy that confirming our date has been done and now we can move onto the next stage which is sending out STDs! Nicole did not hesitate to get back to me at all. The same day that I sent over my request, I rec'd an email from her. You all know how I am feeling right now. I'm high off of LOVE!

    Thank you both for your response! It's so hard deciding re the STDs bc I feel I'm only doing this once (plan to marry once, God willing) and I don't want to regret not doing something. I'm going to sit down and see what the costs will be for all stationary that I am thinking of and then base our decisions on that. That's the trick re weddings. So many different ways to do stuff so it's hard to choose! Happy planning ladies!

    Thanks Wendy. We are going to go with IBRH. When we did our site visits at IBRB we enjoyed the "island" vibe if you will. So I know IBRH will offer just the same as they're the same chain name. RH Hilton is great too. Perhaps when we go back to JA after we're married we will book a weekend there.

    Donie we're also doing the same for our bridal party. Purchasing the girls dresses, and purchasing the gms attire. I'll let the girls pay for their hair etc bc I'm pretty sure there'll be other things that we may pitch in and pay for them.

    We are getting married next year Sept in JA. I'm stuck as to when I should send out my STDs. I wanted to have them made and them mailed out by the end of this year. Sounds like a good time right? And then of course I'm torn between, sending out boarding passes as the STDs or sending out postcards. I was thinking of using the boarding passes as the STDs, passports as the invitations and then postcards as thank you notes once the wedding is over. Suggestions? Opinions appreciated!

    I'm feeling torn too between these two resorts. Ugh! I wish I can combine some perks from one into the other and vice versa. I know what it will come down to for us and I'm sure a lot of couples is the price. We're having a dw to save $ and to have something different that we can share with our close fam and friends. Decisions decisions...however, I have a feeling we're going to end up at Iberostar which I we really liked when we went to visit.
