  1. Thanks for this info girl very helpful. I too was trying to think of a creative guestbook and a way to incorporate our engagement photos when we take them. This idea is it! Your album was beautiful and I love the quotes - give me an inspiration for our book.
  2. Can anyone tell me where I can buy the fabric for the chuppah or will the resort supply that? I do want the chuppah to be decorated in our wedding colors though.
  3. Thanks for the replies ladies! I forgot to add that I would want someone that would be able to make a monogram for us as well. I am assuming that both Jessica and Rebecca do. I will check them both out and then decide from there! Soooooo excited!
  4. I'm currently in the process of seeking out a vendor to create our passport invitations. Can you ladies recommend a good reasonable vendor (via Etsy/or online) that you've used to make your passport invitations? I appreciate the feedback! Thanks.
  5. Awe I was together with my fiance for 9 yrs as well when he proposed. He proposed to me on Dec 21, 2009 & we're getting married this year on Sept. 9th. What a cute engagement story! Congrats girl! Makes me want to share our cute engagement story as well!
  6. Bree can you tell me where you got the sheer fabrics for the chuppah? Did the resort provide it or did you order it online? Please advise! Thanks! ~Tiff
  7. I definitely am going to invite them. Plus since we're not doing an AHR, the bridal shower will be their way to help us celebrate, if they can't make it to Jamaica for our wedding. Thanks ladies!
  8. Quick question what type of material should be used to decorated the chuppah? And where can I should I look to purchase some?
  9. So just to get this straight LuLu you guys didn't have a cocktail hour that you paid for? Your guests just ordered drinks normally? We want a steel drum band during cocktail hour, so I know we're going to have to pay for cocktail hour. I'm just wondering what types of drinks are served after cocktail hour is over and once the reception begins. So much thought has to go into this carefully because we don't want to get screwed lol.
  10. We're doing the opposite of you lol. Getting married in Mobay, then moving to Negril for our honeymoon. Its your wedding, you and your hubby can do whatever you like girlie. Enjoy it while you can!
  11. I keep looking at the pic but I think the green table cloth is probably going to be too much. I guess we can tie in the green accent color with the programs and menus etc and just have a white table cloth with blue satin chair sashes and a blue satin table runner. 12. What do you guys think about this look? I found it online and wanted to know if it looks good or blah. Our colors are aqua, lime green and orange. Aqua is the main color (dresses and shirts for guys), lime green is the color accent, and orange will be for the bouquets and flowers.
  13. I agree. A friend of mine also told me the same thing earlier. Esp since we are not having an AHR the shower will be a way for them to definitely be included. Thanks for your reply ladies!
  14. Hey ladies, just wondering for the guests that have declined no they will not attend the our destination wedding, should we still extend an invite to them for our bridal shower? I don't know if that is proper or not proper. Please advise! Thanks!
  15. If the luggage tag holders are still available, I'll take them! If not, can you tell me where I can order them?
  16. This dress is very pretty and the color is gorgeous. Who's the designer?
  17. Thanks for letting me know Cam. As long as something is served after the cocktail hour ends, we'll be fine with that. How's newlywed life coming along?
  18. Good question I was wondering the same thing! I'm going to have our bridal party cut theirs off too and just get them replaced the next day. Really who would want those in pics? LoL Not me!
  19. I have a question after the cocktail hour, what will the guests continue to drink at the reception? Are wine and soft drinks served? Past brides please advise! Thanks. ~T
  20. We're not using an independent planner. Just going to use the wedding coordinator that's at our resort. Good luck planning!
