Thanks, that certainly makes me feel better. I'm not sure who your WC is, but at this point, I sure wish she was mine. I don't understand why each WC tells us something different. My WC specifically stated that she thought this was a bad option b/c the resort will not provide transportation.

Jess, unfortunately, I think you have to be a little pushy in dealing with your MI contact. I asked my contact for my onsite coordinator's info for 3 months. When I finally got through to her and asked to reserve my ceremony and reception site I was told that all beach locations were booked for the day of my wedding and that all three of the reception locations I liked were already occupied. My ceremony site eventually was sorted out, but she did mention to my travel agent that I shouldn't have waited so long to reserve. If it is really important to you to have a certain gazebo, garden or terrace, I would suggest calling your Miami contact. If you know who your onsite coordinator is, you can probably get her email address on this site and email her directly.

OMG! Me, too!! I really think I hate my dress after looking at all of these. I'm going to wait until my dress arrives in January and then may go buy a new dress that I love as much as the ones on this thread.

All of these fantastic dresses are making me rethink my choice! I can't wait for it to get here in January so I can try it on and make sure I really love it! I really don't want to shop for a new dress!

Have any of you wonderful past brides used the Grand Terrace (Terrace Mar) for your reception space? If so, would you be willing to share some of your photos with me? I'd really appreciate it!

I'm only planning on having between 30-50 guests. Will it look silly to have such a small reception in such a large area? The only choices I have left at this point are the Bugumbilla Terrace or the Grand Terrace. I'm not a big fan of the Bugumbilla Terrace. It doesn't look very private at all! My wedding ceremony is good 10 min walk from the Grand Terrace. Is that too far to expect my guest to walk?

Thanks. That map is sooooo confusing! I am getting married at dolphin beach. They assigned me the terrace near the chapel. I can't remember the name of it. It starts with a B. I really don't want that one. It in the center of three buildings, not remotely private. I'm really hoping to either get the Venado Terrace of the Caribbean Terrace, but I don't know if they are close enough to the ceremony or if they are available. It's been like pulling teeth just getting a list of places that are still available for that night to choose from.
