So I had cute heels for photos, then cute/dressier styled flip flops for the rest of the day and comfort LOL. But since my ceremony was on the beach, I ended up going barefoot and it was totally fine. Hot sand will really depend on the time and location of your ceremony! Lots of ceremony sites on the sand will also have a runner -- ask your resort planner about whether going barefoot would be a problem, they would be able to give you best insight!

Dreams Playa Mujeres is HUGE so it never feels too crowded anywhere. When we were there the resort was almost at full capacity and it never felt like it. There is a kids waterpark/waterzone area and a slide -- which is separate from the other pool areas. And the kids love it, so you will mostly find them there!! The adult areas stay pretty clear of kids, I wouldn't worry about any crossover and go ahead and enjoy. You've picked a gorgeous resort for your wedding!!! You will love it

I got married in late June and have been to the area several times in July -- typically it's a very hot month, but when it comes to the tropics rain is unpredictable and can come and go at any time. The good thing is, when it does rain, it's usually not for the whole day. When I was in the area for two weeks from June to early July, there were 2 days of rainy periods. It even rained on my wedding day earlier in the day, but cleared up in time for my sunset wedding I would say go for it!!
