Can anyone give me an idea of how much extra baggage was? Many of you have commented on the fact that you had 4+ extra suitcases of wedding supplies and decor...and my TA just keeps sending me links to the airline but no ranges of costs and I figured it might be faster to ask you pros than search around aimlessly on a website In particular, any of you Toronto departure brides that know what these baggage costs might be, that would be great! thanks!! -
Thanks Meredith! Good point - I'll have to sit and go over the detail sheet again before final payment and make sure nothing is on there that's a "maybe i'll remove it later" haha

does anyone know if the "hotel standard" shears only come in white? does anything coloured go up to the $150/per shear cost? :

hi ladies! maybe some of you who have already gone down and had your weddings can answer something for me. my understanding is that final payment is due to karisma, through the off site wc's in miami, 30 days out. what happens if you make changes or remove options on your detail sheet once you get down there with the on-site wc.....are you refunded the $$? does the hotel give it to you before you checkout? how does it work? thanks!!

Try checking with Flight Centre or something to confirm that is an accurate price...seems way over to me. If you find cheaper quotes on your own, try telling Luxe you want them to match it.

We're also considering this. Found some sites for excursions off of this BDW actually...but we haven't decided on anything yet. We have a pretty large group as well, although I'm sure not everyone will be game for going somewhere. I def want to hit up Chichen Itza though!! Heard great things about Tulum as well.

Has anyone had an experience with Lomas for the transfer from airport to hotel that they could share? We're probably using Lomas to transfer our guests and I just wanted to know if things went smoothly and on time for others. If not Lomas, how did you arrange transfers for your guests? Thanks!!

is/has anyone gone with the resort spa for hair/makeup?? i'm torn between bringing someone in or using the spa. murmel! that's awesome..thank you sooo much for the dimension info! and our colours are turquoise and red with bits of white. i have no clue yet though about my decor maybe we could go in on lanterns or something? have you already ordered stuff? also, i would have loved to hire your hair/makeup lady, but looks like we're a day too early!!

did/are you both having positive experiences with the wedding holiday? has anyone heard anything about other companies like luxe or weddings by oceans? i've heard mixed reviews about all these three companies - but I guess that's the way with everything! everyone has their own personal experiences, good and bad thx!!
