I am not having a reception , just a nice a la carte dinner at one of the restaurants, I think that will be alright for our small group. No dj or anything like that, people can go to the disco after or to our room to continue the festivities, however 3/4 of the people are over 60 in age, so I think it will be pretty quiet on their part after supper! hehe ... Each wedding is different, depending on your budget and the guests, it's up to you to judge what people would like and what you absolutely can't go without!

Oh my goodness did you ever nail it on the head ! This site definately made me broke and my bags heavy!!! I'm up to 6 luggage and 3 carry-ons... and the credit card bills to prove it !!! Gotta love it!!! Good luck on monday ...can't wait to hear all about it plus you are at the hotel right beside mine!!! Kimberli, The same thing happened to LineM from this site, when she tried to remove her lip hair.. all red and burnt and then chapped!! She used Avon product I think ... those things are just too powerful... I will just try to dye the little hair I have there.. and hopefully that will do the trick for the camera! I'm also not getting much sleep .. with 2 young kids and the excitement of leaving ( how many more sleeps mommy) ... my bags under my eyes are bigger than those i'm leaving with to go on vacation!

Hi cecilia, I also contemplated many resorts and wanted to stick to 1200$ especially for our guests. I got the Majestic for 1300$ in December, that is why i'm surprised that you didn't get a better price for june... i'm in the high season that is why it's more expensive .. I guess it all depends from where you leave? I' ve been with my fiancé for 10 years too .. and he didn't see the need to have a wedding band...so I had to buy my own but i'm happy I did, it will accentuate the engagement ring nicely.

So ladies today I went for my eyebrow threading appointment ... and the lady nipped me with her scissors at the end... right above my eyebrow.. hope the redness won't stay for long.. or leave a mark! Tomorrow i'm heading over to do my waxing... ( too much info I know) and friday i'm doing nails.... what about your gals... any last minute planning like this? Am I forgetting anything??!!

I had my teetj whitened, with laser treatment over the summer..... pretty painful ... leave you with sensitive teeth .. and the difference wasn't amazing.....I had a facial appointment yesterday and I cancelled it, my wedding being 1 week away ... I was too scared to have lasting effects that weren't too pretty.. I should have scheduled it a long time ago I guess, but have been too busy. Today was eyebrow threading, and the girl nipped me with her scissors right about the eyebrow.. nice....grrrr

Marlena, my list of things to bring down sounds EXACTLY like yours!!! I just packed everything last Sunday, and I have to say thank goodness some people in our group are taking first class so that they can bring and extra luggage with them, or i'd be paying a lot in extra baggage! hehe ... Congrats on leaving on friday!!! You are lucky your wedding is close to your arrival date... mine is on the 7th .. I have 4 days of trying to hide under the shade so that I won't get tan lines for my dress!!!

If i'm not mistaken, nathalie never came back online to talk about her wedding, i've tried searching for her review or any pictures, but I don't think she came back to post any I was really looking forward to finding out what happened as well.

All I have to say about this ring .... is WOW , and that color of flower, really brings out the sparkle of you diamonds.. LOVE it! I had no idea they made diamonds in pink ! If I had known... I think this is the most beautiful band i've ever seen! How beautiful is the picture with the pink rose!! Love it, Congrats!

I'm leaving saturday as well! Just finished packing my luggage, only a few more things to pack that have to wait til the last minute... I have to say i've outdone myself ... never been this ahead in packing .. EVER... Kimberli .. you are ironing all of you sashes and that before leaving?? I was afraid it would just get all crinkled again ... maybe I should do that too then .. ! Eekkkk now to remember in what bag they are!

I leave in 8 days!! OMG, panic mode... I just finished my songlist & my place cards... now I have to do my scavenger hunt cards and finish up finding artificial flowers for my centerpieces .... Yikes... my clothes isn't in the luggage yet .. and my boyfriend is starting to give me some heat about that! How is everybody handling the last minute details???
