I have to admit that my dress isn't very casual or simple... it's more formal, A-line.. with lots of beading.... I guess I was just aiming for the braid because I thought it would hold more down south since my hair will be so stringy with the humidity ... something will definately have to be done with my bangs so that it can hold up all day... wonder if they have those kind of products at the spa down there.. any ideas?

So yesterday was my hair trial session, it was all planned out I was going with my maid of honor and she would take the pictures, don't mind the makeup we just did it quickly to give us an idea. However, my MOH forgot my hair flower..so we didn't really get the full effect.. let me know which one you prefer!?? Oh wow .. finally a bridal shop with just plus sizes!!! Lucky you ... that must of been wonderful to try on so many different type of dresses!!! I only got 4 to try on when I went .. but hey ... when you weren't born in a size 6.. you do what you can! Can't wait to hear about you BD shoot... hope it goes well ... relax... don't focus on the camera.. pretend your with future hubby .. hope it goes great!

I have to say that i've been on this site for quite a few months, and those are the nicest luggage tags DIY's that i've seen .... Absolutely love the colors, the ribbon and what a great idea to put the longitude latitude ... amazing, you should be proud!

Went for my first dress fitting last wednesday .. was really nerve racking.. however I think my dress will come out nicely once everything is taken in!

Thats an amazing deal!!!! I am paying 2200$ for my photographer, CD included of all the pictures, but no album.

I just did a boudoir shoot, was going to get him a watch.. but just didn't think his reaction would be the same as getting an photo album. Photographers literally charge an arm and a leg!!! The least expensive I found was 350$ no makeup no hair .. in return a mini album with 10 pictures.. but no cd or prints. Then I came across a photographer who calls her sessions " glamour sessions" .. she specializes in pin up models.. however I told her I didn't want to look like a pin up ... just classic & sexy ... she did my makeup and hair very simple, she has her own studio ... I had no retouching done, got the CD right away with over 125 photos to choose from.... 150$ tax included!! I paid 35 $ for the album online.. and I can't wait to see the finished product! Best idea i've had concerning my wedding yet!!!

Had my Boudoir shoot on the 13th.. went really well.. I was very nervous however i'd say half of the pictures turned out great. Glad I had my best friend with me to help me in and out of those corsets! lol

I've read many posts from here and other websites, and i'd say 99% of the brides that used their original dress, say their dress was not trashed at all... it even cleaned it up nicely after an entire day of the train and hem rubbing on dirty floors!

Wow what a situation your are living!! I think if you want the " less" hassles, you did the right thing, no need to add drama or negativity on your wedding day. This is just two people who basically don't take responsability very seriously, and eventhough his illness seems to be very serious, they had ample amount of time to pay and get the tux before he got ill. I think that you were thoughtful for them, but it is a one way street. They can't even be bothered to pick up their own check, for a deposit that they should have lost! ( I had two people decide not to go to my wedding last week .. and they lost their deposit .. and my wedding is in December!) You've done what you could, try to move on and think better thoughts ... your wedding week is coming up ... and this should be the best time of your life!

Hi i'm selling this brand new cake topper, still in the box if anyone is interested it's appox. 15 cm high, perfect condition.. any reasonable offer will be accepted. Unfortunately, my wedding will have a limited amount of people, and the resort is making me a 1 tier wedding cake... instead of at least a 2 -tier like I was hoping for... so I find that this cake topper is simply too big for a 1-tier cake !
