I would not worry about the weather when we went for our site visit the weather predicted thunderstorms too and when it did rain it passed very quickly. Also I did not notice any issues with wearing shorts to any of the restaurants. My fiance wore polos and shorts to all the restaurants.

Do any of you soon to be Dreams Cancun brides know if they have sunless spray tanning etc at the spa? I am a redhead and do not want to go tanning prior to my wedding due to the freckles I will get! Yikes...this is one of the major things that stresses me out.

I know about the overlays. She has so many different fabrics and colors. she has a whole book of them. I went through them on my site visit!

I am a Dreams Cancun Bride for April 6, 2012. Whoot whoot...can't believe I have 6 1/2 months left. when all is said and done we will have had a 2 year engagement. Yikes.

Another really cute idea is to have your round tables for the guests and one small table in the center or on the side for just you and your hubby. It is your first meal together as husband and wife and I think it is really romantic that way!

The round tables that seat 6 people look really good scattered around on the terrace. I've seen pics of both and really like the round tables.

There is no additional cost for the reception!

We have decided that one month before we leave we will be having all of our guests over for a send off cocktail party and will be giving out everyone their out of town bags! It is a lot easier than dealing with customs!

She takes way to long to get back to her customers. It seems ridiculous to me as well. I would call down to the resort.  Welcome to this site and congrats on your upcoming wedding!

It has been about 6 months since I have been on here! Wow my wedding is a little over 7 months away now. I was in shock to hear that Dreams will be closing for renovations. I really hope this does not effect my wedding on April 6, 2012.

I also see that Juan is no longer contracted with Dreams! WOW!

I still am trying to be positive and hope to god that the renovations do not effect our day for our guests either!

Ok girls....I am so ready to buy that dress!!! ALLURE.....UNBELIEVABLY gorgeous!

I haven't been on her for at least a month! I have a heck of alot of catching up to do. Hmmmm our wedding is April 6, 2012 at Dreams Cancun! I can't wait! We are leaving for our site visit in 8 weeks. I will take a ton of pictures of that resort. If any of you girls are getting married in Cancun, I would be willing to hit up any of the other resorts and take pics for you girls. Just let me know and I will hit the strip with my camera. I'll just tell them I need to tour their resort for potential brides!
