A lot of guests that can't afoed the wedding have asked me if they could participate in the showers etc etc. You could make it a fun send off party!

We are having ours on a Friday. I am so excited but a little nervous too!

Great review thanks for sharing. I am a little disappointed in their lack of concern for your day by allowing a rehearsal to make your ceremony late. Unacceptable! Also not fair to your guests!!

Great pics...you really captured the resort. When we went for our site visit we did not really get many pictures!

Ok...so do we have any brides here that have a wedding the first week in April? I'm really hoping to run into some BDW brides!! It will be fuin to meet up for a drink!

I'm sad to hear that your wedding was far from perfect. Not good! I'm glad u had a good time though!!

I'm sorry about this. I don't get it. I hope that you find another location you both love. Who knows maybe she will not honor my location. Which package did you purchase...does it maybe have to do with that?

I checked my contract with Dreams and the club terrace is written as the place for my reception. I sure hope they plan on honoring it. I am really hoping!

My wedding was everything I dreamed of and YES, we survived what was a hurricane category 2, then a category 1, then finally a tropical storm.  The nerves were about shot by my wedding day.  However, all but 7 guests (of 64) made it, I got my wedding gazebo, cocktail hour outside, and photos.  Only thing was moving the dinner and reception inside the club terrace. Still beautiful and perfect (a tad hot though).

Also, please be patient, those of you waiting on questions.  Honestly, after a the tropical storm, there was a lot a maintenance that had to get done, a lot of weddings still happening, but waiting to the last minute etc.  Give them a chance to respond.  I saw 5 weddings (besides my own) the week I was there.  They are busy!!!!!!!!!!!!!  But they are awesome!!!!!

She told me I could have it so she had better not back down on that as well. I will be checking my contract tonight. I hope it is written in.

Ok guys I just looked online at their wedding planning guide and the club terrace is listed as an option to hold your reception. I really don't understand why this would have changed by any means. I think we might all be good.

I better look in my contract tonight to make sure that it is there I thought it was but now I am second guessing myself!

This is odd. I already have the terrace in my contract and none of my guests are staying there!!! They better not change this on me.

The hotel always has been having this kind of events for the entire guest, on Tuesdays we cerebrate a Mexican fiesta with a buffet and Friday’s is forCaribbean night show. Dinner starts at 7 and ends by 11 pm, the show s around 8:00 to 9:30 pm with some mariachis, Mexican dancers but not extremely loud. Your reception dinner will be from 6-9 pm, so will be almost at the end.

By ceremony time will be no problem at all.

The whether so far has been raining so far this last 2 weeks and when is a little chance of rain they move the show to somewhere else, so there is a chance to have it with no event beside yours. Your wedding is important to me as is for you; I’ll talk to whoever I need to talk with in order to have the place with no loud music than yours.

Very excited for both of you. You will both have to let me know if it really interferes with your wedding. I am thinking that you might be right and with the amount of weddings we would have heard something in a review about this.

I'm getting married on a Friday night and really wanted the terrace so that I would not have to oay $750 for the dance floor in the sand. This is disturbing.

Soo excited for all of u and very excited to hear all about it and see the pics!

I hope that I still get the prices I was quoted when I signed my contract. Juan knows he is still doing my wedding and hasn't said anything about a change in price.
