Thank you so much for this review!! I'm having an indoor reception bc in June it's too hot to be outside. It was great seeing the ballroom pics. I have two ballrooms reserved bc I was afraid of being squeezed in a small space. Out of curiosity - does the resort offer any table decorations at all? Votive candles? I had no idea they had that area for private parties. I love that!! I'm writing that down. The reception setup looks amazing. I'm in agreement as well on saving some $$ by having most events at the resort. Did you use the resort for your flowers? I'm using Marvin from Maya Diseno and so far i've heard good reviews.

Diahr - That is so awful!! I'm so sorry to hear about your in-laws. WOW!! That is completely unbelievable. When you made the decision to have a destination wedding and talked with everyone - didn't they realize the significance of committing? It's not like you decided one morning to have it in Mexico and dropped it on everyone. That whole excuse about moving to Texas in June is cracking me up. LOL..... I find that hilarious bc summers in Texas are brutal. That is highly inconsiderate and hopefully they'll reconsider and realize what it means to you and your fiance. To miss your own son's wedding - that's really ballsy and not cool. I'm sending positive thoughts your way. It's about the both of you and no one can take that away.

Just let them (the Royal) pick it up and steam it and return it. Trust me, I was anal about this and worried, but I wouldn't have it any other way. A hand steamer won't do the job, and it is included in certain packages. They were amazing and my dress looked perfect when it was returned to me! Very cool! I just bought extra colors from MAC store in Houston that I liked. LOL... The control freak inside of me just can't quite let go. I think once I do a site visit and a trial with him - I'll be more relaxed. The only thing I don't like is their foundation. Something in it made my face break out. Good to know about their steamer service being reliable. It seems so scary to just hand it over. LOL....

Ladies - I just realized I let my passport expired - how long did it take you to get a new pasport? Jes - at wicky's, was it a private area that you had? I love your rehearsal dress - so fun and tropical. Ladies that came back and just used Fernando - did he have a large selection of makeup colors to chose from? I bought some other colors just in case. Was he open to using other makeup that you owned?

WOW!! Lot's of action over the weekend. Awesome!! Lisa and other brides - My Mom called me this morning about the explosion and I had to tell her, that could happen anywhere.
