Thanks SweetLe!!! All I can is that not all angles are friendly!! I can't wait to see what my photographer got compared to my friend's shots that I posted. I love that liquify feature on photo editing! Let's go ahead and trim that part down. LOL.. That is so awesome!! You're getting married two days before I turn 33! YAY!! I love celebratory events. =) I know! It seems like we're going to have less than 30 and we were expecting 30-40ish. I really want the dj to keep the fun vibe up but not sure if I want to pay that much. I'm not bringing any decorations with me except for the photo albums of my bridal portraits, engagement session, sign in photo book and table assignment stuff. I keep going back and forth on adding some colors since all the resort provides is white. The FI is like - I don't want to carry tons of *stuff* down there. I asked Marvin from Maya Diseno if I could rent some pieces and he said yes! I just need to tell him what I'm thinking of renting. JoZee - Seriously! I need to up my working out too. Kshow has such a flat stomach! I need her workout secrets!! I know!!! I can't believe it's so close now. I've been reviewing my list and trying to think - am I missing something? What have I not thought of? You are!! Lucky - I haven't even started that yet. Next weekend I need to go and get mine made as well. However in Houston - there's really not a good tailor for that. The one my sister found was not good - he didn't do a good job on her dress. I haven't gotten an AHR dress. Right now just focusing on the wedding. Not even sure if he wants one. LOL.... I feel stressed and am waiting for that stress induced weightloss to happen. So far - not yet.

Gracias Lisa & Labebita911!! Lisa - I've been pretty good about working out and eating right. However - there is always room for improvement!! Especially if I plan to look as great as Jesmcan or KShow in their boudair pics. Those girls totally rocked it and looked amazing. Sports Illustrated models - eat your hearts out! Our ladies are totally hot!! Labebita911 - Believe it or not but my bouquet came from a grocery store. If you have H-E-B in your area, Central Market is the higher end of that chain. My actual bouquet will be the basic bridal bouquet included in the package - dozen lavender roses. I wanted to add more flowers to my bouquet but the resort florist was charging too much and I wanted to take advantage of everything that came in my package. I am using Marvin from Maya Diseno Floral for everything else though. Definitely not trying to get crazy with the budget - but it's so hard when you see all the great stuff from other awesome weddings! LOL....

For any Houston Brides that are looking for a great place for Bridal pictures, I highly recommend Las Velas (used to be called Paraiso Maravilla). Near the corner of Chimney Rock and Fairdale Ln. Here are a few teaser shots that shows the location (I took these yesterday). My friend that helped me into my dress took these pictures. My photographer proofs aren't ready yet. But this gives you an idea of what you can do at this location. It's a spanish/tuscan theme. Great space for shoots.

DIAHR - I'm sure you will laugh about it one day. First just take a deep breath and try to relax. I agree with you that the dress is not appropriate for a wedding. This is not club wedding. LOL... And BCBG is not cheap - even on sale the dresses are around $150. I know - I own a few myself. I agree with Jozee - you should schedule a shopping trip with her to find an appropriate outfit. Too bad she can't return that dress. That's not even a cute combo!

Hi geoffnsara - I asked my wc about it and she was ok with it. She did not mention a fee to me. My photographer and wedding party is staying at The Royal side - so maybe that's it. We wanted to participate in some of the cocktail hour instead of missing it entirely.

Hi Gals! Have any of you had issues with guests all of a sudden backing out of the wedding bc of all the incidents happening in Mexico? We've assured everyone that is not Playa del Carmen and none of those areas are near it. Plus the resort is private. We indirectly found out that my fi sister and brother in law decided to pull out last minute. They gave us multiple excuses - how lucky are we? I'm pretty upset bc I already paid for her dress. Luckily we hadn't bought the guys suits yet. I'm more upset at the fact that we called them about something else and then they were being weird on the phone and after teeth pulling - they told us. I wonder if and when they were planning on telling us. ggrrr...... Anyway - did any past brides pick the trio or quintet to play during cocktails? In the package it says Mexican Trio - is that the same thing as Mariachi?

ChicagoBride - That is a great idea! Anyone - definitely let us know if that works. That is so weird about the vendor/photography issue. I told my WC about mine a long time ago and she was fine with it. So strange that they are changing everything. You ladies have empowered me to ask for the tres leches wedding cake! Our reception is inside so hopefully we can get it!

Araceli - Thanks for posting the pics! Absolutely gorgeous and the wedding looks amazing. How did you travel with your dress? I think KShow had first class closet. Any other brides? How did you travel with your gown? Thanks!!

I agree on the badgley mischkas! my own are plum colored. I found mine on www.zappos.com. Try nordstroms.com as well.
