    We're doing a 7 day cruise and I don't think it will be too long at all. People won't always be all over you to visit with all the time, it's their vacation too and will want to enjoy it how they like as well.

    All-Inclusive gives guests a feeling of comfort that they never need to worry about paying for food and drinks all the time. Its so refereshing to not even HAVE to carry cash everywhere you go!

    I'm doing that exact cruise on the Carnival Glory in Feb 2011. We chose it over western mexico stops because the ports are further and more "exotic". I've never cruised before either and am looking forward to the trip! I find all-inclusive resorts so boring so I hope being busy all the time at ports will be the best vacation ever!     Congrats! We are also getting married in St.Thomas. We are cruising with Carnival in Feb 2011 and are getting off the ship in St. Thomas and using Perfect weddings of St. Thomas. We are getting married just off the beach on Limetree/Bluebeards Beach. Let me know if you have an questions I can try to help you with!

    I completely agree with you, and am guilty of writing such nonsense posts as well. It's what they force us to do though so be it. I thought about paying the fee myself but in addition to all the other costs of the wedding it seemed better to waste my time then my money! This site is really great for a lot of things but it will take a lot of your time! Best wishes to your daughter and it's great to see you doing a lot of research for her as well. Lucky girl!

    I got vistaprint cards too. I think they call them "notecards" because they came with little while envelopes, although I'm not using the envelopes. They look exactly like business cards though, but I didnt have to get 100 of them.

    I'm hoping to ship my stuff to Miami (cruising out of this port) to the Hotel a few days ahead. I work for Fedex so it will be cheap and I trust them.

    I say 7 day for sure. Yes its more expensive but you will need lots of time to enjoy yourself and spend time with your guests! Also it doesn't hurt AT ALL that you can sail on the newest ship.
