  1. Here are my DIY starfish for the aisle chairs at the ceremony.
  2. With this planning of a destination wedding, I have really become a DIY Queen, I just can't help it! There are so many endless arrays of possibilities! So, I thought I would share a few with everyone!! These are the signs that will be going on the back of our chairs, I will be adding little hooks to the top to attach raffia or ribbon to it so they will be hung on our chairs at the reception. These are the starfish that are going to hang on each of the aisle chairs at the ceremony. I also want to figure out a way to incorporate them into the head table for the reception. These are our programs. I was going to do raffia fans and attach programs to them for the ceremony but I decided to make it an all-in-one and do this instead.
  3. Thanks for that helpful info! Can't wait to read your review when you get back!
  4. The saying is "Thanks for hanging with me through all of this" Kinda cheesy, but it incorporates the hanger. The orange block things came from Michaels in the $1 bin. I am also using them for the tables. I plan on doing a double-sided buffet menu and putting it one them since I already have frames for the actual table numbers.
  5. I actually got the hangers in a 7 pack from Ross and I used a thinner paint pen to write on them. Super easy and then I printed the little saying out on cardstock in my colors.
  6. I made starfish bouts for the guys, very simple.
  7. I have goven overboard on buying the girls thinga also and I have 5 bridesmaids so it has added up! I bought them a paisley beach bag, personalized pen, paper and post-its, their shoes, sandals for the reception, earrings and necklace for wedding day, hat, make-up bag and hair flower. Working on the OOT bags now....ahhh!
  8. Sent you a Pm interested in your whistle bracelets and key card holders too.
  9. I am interested in the whistle bracelets and the key card holders. I already PM'd you about the jute bags.
  10. Yay! Congrats and welcome! Would also love to see pictures from the site visit if you have them.
  11. Does anyone know if the resort allows anything floatable in the pool? I found floating beer pong tables and I think it would be so fun to do a beer pong tournament out at the pool the day after the wedding.
  12. I decided to make these hangers for my bridesmaids to hang their dresses on for wedding day. I am having an etsy seller do mine but the girls was easy enough to do and I think it will make for a cute photo opp.
  13. Super cute! I may have to do this for our cocktail party. I have already ordered custom coasters.
  14. My parents paid for my dress and they are paying for the majority of the wedding. There are some things that I just go ahead and buy but I know that my parents would pay for it if I needed them to.
  15. Just thought I would post a picyure of my DIY starfish bouts. I decided to do these so we could add something original to our destination wedding. Let me know what you think!
  16. This is where I ordered mine from http://deltonaseashells.com/
  17. I made my own already too. Here is a picture of them
  18. Yes, the bar will fill any cup that you bring to them. We have a friend who works for a company that does promotional products, so I am going to order the cups from him. Do you want his info?
  19. I am not doing mugs but instead doing 16 oz plastic tumblers with our monogram on them. I know that the cups at the pool are small so these can be used instead.
