Thanks! I let my BM's pick the dress out when we were all at the bridal store finding my dress. They went hunting, each found one then did a try-on of them all together. It was like a mini fashion show We then decided which dress was best suited for the 5 of them and this is what they came up with. I know that this is a dress that they will be wearing again.

Hey ladies! I finally finished my pre-travel newsletter that is going out to all of my guests. We are at about 6 weeks out from leaving and 7 weeks until wedding day!!! Let me know what you think!!!

Woo hoo! I found amazing straw bags at Target on the bins up front. They were $2.50 each and I am absolutely in love with them!!!

When I asked my WC Cristina about this, she said that there will be tables and chairs set up for our welcome cocktail party we are doing. I am bringing some decorations for it also. I found small little colored lanterns for the tables that I am putting tea lights in. Also, I am hanging paper lanterns in fuschia and orange. I also ordered personalized coasters and I plan on doing a few signature cocktails. We will also have apps served. I would suggest doing your own basket if you are going to want one.

Yay Jess! I am so excited for you about your dress. I had my first fitting and I was so happy with how it fit. I finally bought the bags for my OOT bags and I absolutely love them! They are straw with a colored liner and I got them at Target for $2.50 each, they were in the bins that are in the front of the store. We are in the process of finishing our survival kits. Also our shot glasses came from discount mugs and I am so happy with how they turned out.

Wow this is getting ugly. I just found my email conversation that I had with Rebeca regarding the videography service and how I can use vacation dollars for it. So, I plan on printing out all of the pertinent info from my myriad of emails and highlighting and tagging the important stuff. On a positive note though, Christina tried to tell me that if I wanted to do my reception at the solarium mundaca (like I have had scheduled) that there was an extra set-up fee per person, even though we have reached over 75 room nights and are entitled to unlimited private functions. So, I threw a fit about this because the other options that didn't incur the fee were already booked and the only option left was to do our reception at the pool. When I asked her if thay part of the pool would be closed to the publice for our "private" reception she said no. So, I let her know how dissapointed I was and she then told me that she would waive the extra set-up fee at the solarium mundaca so I am back to the original plan with that. I am just not going to back down when I have my meeting with her and make sure that everything I have is in writing.

I am just going to take my chances and still use my photographer. If I have to buy him a room for the night then I will do it. I had debated using the resot photographer before I booked Gonzalo and they were really rude. I was left with a really bad impression of them. My photographer has never done a wedding at our resort so I am hoping that they won't recognize his name. I am already giving the resort enough money with the flowers and the DJ and bringing 60+ people so hopefully I can get away with it.

Uh oh, that is worry-some! I wonder if they have seen La Luna there too many times. My Photographer has never done a wedding there. We shall see! Can't wait to read your review!
