    Hello new brides!!! This thread is wonderful and you will learn so many things about the resort. The only gazebo on the cove side is the Coba Gazebo. As far as reception reservations, you will want to decide if you want it to be private or not. We are expecting between 75 and 100 people for our wedding, so we booked the Solarium Mundaca for our reception. We also booked the Maracas Terrace for our welcome cocktail party the Thursday before the wedding. I hired an outside photographer, Gonzalo Nunez, and I just planning on buying him a day pass for the day of the wedding.

    I decided to use our maracas as our place cards. This way they can double up!

    We are having a buffet and I am goin to do one large menu for each table double-sided so you can see it from anywhere on the table.

    We are booked for 6pm and the photographer told me that it is a perfect time to do sunset pictures. 5pm would probably be a good time also.

    We are ordering customized 22oz tumblers for everyone to use at the pool and around the resort. The cups at the resort are just too small! They will have our names, the date and the location printed on them. How do you pick your wedding colors?

    Yes custom coasters, is that kind of ridiculous? My FI was laughing at me because he says I am too detail oriented! I ordered them from www.myweddingreceptionideas.com and they are pulpboard coasters that I customized. I ordered them in ivory with fuschia. They will say cheers and have our names underneath that. They are going to be sending me a proof so I will post it on here when I get it. It ended up costing about $40 for 100 of them, pretty reasonable I think. I am just doing a "Shake for the Kiss" tag on our maracas.

    I got a few more things accomplished today. Ordered our pink and orange maracas from amols, ordered custom coasters for our cocktail party the Thursday before the wedding and centerpieces for the cocktail party. Still more to do today!!

    Are you using the same chair sashes for the ceremony and reception? I just worry about getting them from the ceremony to the reception and having them set-up in time? Jess- how did you make your aisle runner and how are you getting it to mexico?

    Starting to feel a little anxiety ridden!!! My to-do list is constantly growing!!!

    Yes I am getting into the hardcore planning also. Right now, I am at a standstill until I get a final head count though. We invited about 220 and are expecting about 100 but I cant really start buying things for the guests until I know for sure.
