Meggers - your honeymoon sounds amazing!!

Tiera - I would have thought they would let you know too - that's too bad, I hope that the new one arrives quickly!! Meggers - so the spoon trick removes redness? how long does it last? I am a crier also - I don't want to have red eyes in my pictures!! So, my work threw me a surprise wedding shower today! A Jamaican-themed potluck with a ton of Jamaican foods. Everyone loved it because it was something they normally wouldn't have made and the food was so good! Anyways, I had to share the cupcakes that someone made - so cute and so clever!!

Teira - Everything looks sooooo great! Good job on putting it all together!! You will have an amazing trip and I can't wait to read about it all when you get back! April 2011 brides all the way!! Congrats!!

Hey Lisa - a card box can take up a lot of space - I've seen "envelope" bags - you can get satin or velvet, that will work the same. Basically any satin bag drawstring bag would work! And it's easy to pack!

Meggers - I love that you straightened out the spaces! Too funny, and I noticed the "th" right away too:) Ha ha!! Thanks for making it pretty for the rest of us!! I don't know if you can still get these or not, but I know people LOVE the Canadian Red Mittens from the Olympics! Even if it's too hot to wear them!! I went to the dollar store today and picked up some Canadian souvenirs (pencils, keychains, frisbee, bracelets). I'll just give them away to anyone I talk to or if someone helps me out...I also got a couple kids puzzles and games...

I'm so happy this thread is going - I've been so confused lately about all the changes and the different information I've been getting. It will be nice to have current information, and since I leave in a few weeks, I can try to answer questions when I return too for all the brides coming up! So, for guests from outside the resort that are coming - it's $75 per person for a day pass, but does that not include the entire day? Someone had mentioned that it was only good for 1 hour before the wedding until 2am.... We have 2 people in our wedding party that are staying at a different resort - but we wanted them to come and get ready with us...I guess I should contact Keisha about this!!

I think it's a really pretty song - I like the non-traditional songs, that one would be really unique. What's important is that you both like it! One of our favorite songs is called "I only love you when I'm down" by Chris Cornell, which a lot of people may find really weird for a wedding but we're still considering it because we love the song!!

My opinion - pick a song that you like, have it a few minutes long, but I wouldn't try to choreograph it to the second, that's a lot of stress to worry about it being perfect, and things rarely go perfectly!! If the song goes on a little after you've walked the aisle, that's OK, it may feel now like a minute is a long time, but it will be nice when you are there to stop and enjoy the moment!

Hi ladies! I have been MIA for a few weeks - but have been keeping up with everyone's progress!! It's hard to keep up with everyone!! I leave in 15 days! So crazy! I have so much still to do!! Ella- I actually registered for one of those pictures off of Etsy - I just asked the seller to make a custom listing for me and I posted it on our website with our other gift registry info to let people know. I told the seller if it doesn't get sold then I'll just buy it! Yeah, I feel for those of you who don't get bonuses - I'm taking my PhD in a cancer research lab, and since we're non-profit there's no way we'd ever get bonuses (even the non-students). I'm always so envious of people who get bonuses:) Hopefully someday I'll get one too:) And I've got exciting news - I finally have gotten some things done for the wedding!! I've been studying for a big exam for the past month so I haven't done any wedding stuff and now the exam is over I finally made my bouquet this weekend! I LOVE how it turned out - I will post pictures soon!! Also - the guys suits arrived, the bridesmaids dresses arrived, we bought shoes for the groomsmen, and I bought a necklace for me to wear - will post pictures of those too! Love the feeling of getting lots done:)
