J-ME-- I saw your idea and thought it sounded great!! Where did you find clear labels? I went to CVS, RITEAID but couldn't find any... Perhaps I'll have to make a trip to Staples.. Bmaxam-- My fiance won't let me write on our envelopes.. My handwriting is tiny by nature and he says we will blind our guests=/ If we do hand write then he had volunteered to do it.. He has a nice, bubbly cursive.. LOL... I wish I could do calligraphy though.. It looks so beautiful.. I will do a test run of printing straight onto envelopes.. Thanks for the ideas ladies:)

I'm happy you are not letting it bother you! I honestly wouldn't worry.. I know a lot of our friends and family are going to be staying for a few more days after our wedding.. Which is why I will be keeping our honeymoon resort top secret! LOL

Hi Amy:) Congrats and welcome to the site!! Picking a destination and resort will probably be the hardest part of your planning.. My fiance and I were really set on Jamaica, but the resort we wanted was just too expensive and we were told they don't do weddings on Sundays-- (we had our hearts set on a date already).. So we will save that place for either our honeymoon or our one year anniversary trip.. Mexico has MANY MANY affordable resorts with great wedding packages.. Great family resorts too since you will be having children attend your wedding.. You should check out the mexico thread here.. When I first started planning it helped to look at all the reviews and pictures brides posted so that I could narrow down what I want.. Good luck and don't worry.. You will find the place perfect for you and your budget!

Lindsey, we had trouble deciding too! So we are having our ceremony and reception at The Royal.. And then the reception at The Gran Real Resort and Spa on one of their rooftop terraces.. That could be something to consider?

When: April 22, 2012 Where: Ceremony & Cocktail @ The Royal in Cancun; Reception @ The Gran Real Resort and Spa Progress: Bought my dress.. Wedding site half done.. STD'S to be mailed out within next few days!! Site visit and food tasting this August.. So happy to be a part of the 2012 girlies:)

My family is also giving me crap for choosing Mexico.. Even though they have never been.. My fiance and I love Mexico and have always felt safe when we travel there.. Its common sense that you use good judgment wherever you go.. foreign country or not! I for one cannot wait for 2011 to pass:)

I love the gift card idea.. But it could add up depending on number of guests=/ I'm not sure what were doing! We were thinking personalized tequila bottles and shot glasses..

Hi Lindsey.. The menus and everything else you might want to look at (flowers, cake, centerpieces) are online! You can go to the resort website.. Click on weddings.. Under packages and services, click on downloads and then wedding menus.. If you have trouble with it, send me your email and I can send it to you! Happy planning:)

MWISE 17-- me too! Only reason I hate the summer is stupid sweating=/ LOL.. I always use a little more repairing lotion the night before just to prevent breakouts.. So far so good..
