I'm getting married July 16, 2011 at Majestic Elegance in Punta Cana... anyone else??!!??!

Its a LOT different then going to some random BAR after you just had your wedding at this beautiful place then you go to a local bar... My friend got married up in Saratoga at the Hall of Springs on Travors (the biggest horse race ever) weekend, and didn't want her party to end so we went to some RANDOM CROWDED PACKED BEYOND BELIEF bar.... and as we were walking in.... the bouncers were DRAGGING a pack of guys out that were fighting and she got knocked over in her dress.... If you go at the resort... you are there!!! I WOULD DEF GO IN MY DRESS!! lol --- it's onsite... so it shouldn't be too big of a deal

Hello all.. I am getting married July 16, 2011 at the Majestic Elegance in Punta Cana, DR. ANYONE GETTING MARRIED AROUND A SIMILAR DATE at the ME or in Punta cana??!??!

EVERYONE HAS THIS PROBLEM IT SEEMS.... atleast you know that 44 people are booked.. I know that like 6 are booked because they are immediate family..... I am soooooooooo frustrated... I am hesitant to give mine a Piece of my mind... because last time I made the TA cry and I am not using her any more..... But your TA BETTER GIVE YOU THE DETAILS... tell her to keep an on going spreadsheet so she can do it as it comes in.... and tell her to F#@*# deal with it!!!

okay so remember what I just posted about my travel agent being ( I think) good... I have gotten atleast 4 e-mails from my guests saying that they have emailed my TA and haven't heard a word back from them... Meanwhile my Fiance e-mailed her 2 days ago... not one WORD, CALL.. NOTHING... I AM FUMING... but I don't want to blow up because I don't want to get on bad terms... after all... she is my TA and I'm not finding another one 5 1/2 months before my wedding... What should I do?????????????????

You can get drinks from anywhere in the resott.. it's all inclusive... I dont understand your question. You don't have to choose any open bar package at all.. you can all just show up to a bar and drink... it's just not privatized... How many people is it?

So long story short... My colors were light pink and light yellow.... After trying on bridal gown which is champagne with my pale yellow dresses (WHICH ALL THE BRIDESMAIDS LOVED ON).... The yellow dresses looked BLAH with my wedding dress... it was so dissappointing Therefore, I have to sell my yellow sashes and change EVERYTHING I'VE ALREADY DONE.... which is quite a bunch of things.... so I may be selling a bunch of stuff soon.. but it's at my parents house.... so I have to look through things... I have 90 light yellow chair sahes for sale.... If you are interested.. PLEASE PM me or e-mail me [email protected]

Okay girls... so you may think IM CRAZY but I went with my bridesmaids yesterday to pick out dresses for them ( They were going to be in pale yellow). While everyone agreed on the same dress... and they loved the colors.... I tried on my dress which is a champagne color.... and BLAHHHHHH.... it looked BLAH together.... nothing complimented... it just looked like a wash out... I was so bummed... and upset of course because I bought pink and yellow sashes... started planning EVERYTHING in those colors.... so I saw these colors.... what do you think....... It's called MISTY BLUE... we have to change the WHOLE style of the dress because the designer we picked does not have misty blue.... OH WELL... so here it goes.... what do you think about this color now.... Should I do LIGHT PINK ROSES???

I dont think any TA can handle a big destination wedding... I made my (past) travel agent cry... she WAS dropped like a hot potato. She started crying when I told her that I was PO'd because I asked her to call about group rates and 2 days later, and not returning my calls.. the flights went up like 200 $ a PIECE.... she started balling. I was like.. okay, you must have some other issues, sooooo I'll let you go now... lol Meanwhile, I have a new one... she is good.. but I dont hear from her for weeks... I JUST WANT THEM TO CHECK IN.. like hey..... this one booked, or heyyy,, why isn't anyone booking?? Or just HEYYYYYYY thanks for giving me all this business -- 100 people booking through them.. you would think I would get SOMETHING!!! If I wasn't a teacher, coach and a bartender, I would be a TA on the side and still do a better job!!

There is no way I'm having my reception at 3 pm in the afternoon... I am so upset about getting married at 1 PM... I am going to stall stall stall..... I think that after we get married and take pictures on the beach and with the wedding party... I am going to get my hair and make up touched up.... I also want my hair hallf-up half-down and with the wind... it may not be too smart... so tahts why I may re-do it.
