I've found that a lot of brides have been splitting the costs of things like sashes and drapings and alcohol bottles with brides with around the same wedding dates... and also Photographers.. Yeah I know, I don't know how this is possible. The only way is to hire someone to take photos behind a back drop... That's the only way I'm seeing possible right now. If anyone has tried to do this or priced it out for Dominican Republic (Punta Cana) your advice would be so helpful!!! Anyone do a make-shift photobooth??? Like what I'm talking about. Also,BIKEGIRL-- where did you can a polaroid instant camera??? For how much??? Thanks!!! Natalie

Â Does anyone know if you can buy just bottles of liqour from the resort and pay for what you drink????? And pay the bartender 15$ per hour, because I think that is what it said??? Â At the Paradisus Palma Real which is one of THE MOST EXPENSIVE RESORTS on the Island.. it's $17 PP per hour for alcohol which I thought was RIDICULOUS.. and then I see $35 PP per hour at the Majestic... that is HIGH WAY ROBBERY.... is this price negotiable??? Because they are losing out on a lot if not.... Â I'm having 100+ ppl.... Anyone else have 100+ ppl at their wedding at the majestic elegance??

Okay Ladies, Â I was just down in PPR checking out the scene for my wedding in July 2011 (16th). Let me tell you what a freakin hassle with everything... they give you NOTHING!!! and when I mean nothing, I mean NOTHING!!! They tack on every price and add on known to man... if you don't mind me asking, for the people who are having weddings over 75 people (MINE IS over 100) what price did they quote you for rooms... lets see how consistent they really are.... Â Has anyone been down there to see the place??? Or are you guys just going based on reviews and pictures?? Â Anna, I would like to talk more with you being that you ahve 120+ guests, which is very simliar to mine.... My e-mail is [email protected]. I have a lot to say about BOTH paradisus's but the PPR is way better than the PPC. Â FYI--- the maid stole $200 from my room, left me $40 in my wallet though... HOW NICE.. right???
