Has anyone gotten a lower rate at the Majestic Elegance than $236.00 per night for DOUBLE occupancy (2 ppl)????? If so, WHEREEEEE??!??!? I have approximately 100 ppl for my wedding and no one seems to be giving me a deal for booking all those darn rooms.... Does anyone have any suggestions as to where I can get a lower rate???

Hey Cookiemunchkin, The post office is closed right now, but I will check it out tomorrow. Where in Canada?? It says online that a FLAT RATE BOX is $25.60 if you pay online which sounds CRAZY to me, so I'm going to look into it tomorrow. I know that I have shipping within the US in a flat rate box for around $6.00, I don't know how it could be SO much more, but yet again, I'm not familiar with Canada.

I HAD THE SAME EXPERIENCE... I actually WENT THERE AND SAT DOWN WITH MARIA... I went on a whole day tour and food tasting and show case with Noelia the wedding coordinator..... THEY ARE ROBBERS and LIARS.... and yes... it is beaaaaaaaaaautiful.. but I wouldn't spend a dime there b/c they take advantage!!! They would not give me my deposit back that I put down.... and I got my money stolen from my locked suitcase in my room from the MAID!!!! yup.. they did nothing.. they wouldn't even give me my deposit back for the $300 they stole from my bag.... It's beautiful and I know 2 ppl that got married there, but I wouldn't WASTE MY MONEY!!!! (Their weddings were very nice by the way--- I had to add a positive) but theives!!! If you want more info, which you shouldn't, bc NYC explained everything....!!!

OMG, ladies.... I'm so glad I'm not alone--- I thought I was BY MYSELF IN THIS SITUATION!!! Travel arrangements is THE most stressfull thing EVER... I'm sitting here everyday strategicially trying to figure things out for my guest. My TA sucks....
