Hey Ladies, Thought I would share this with you...I was just at a destination wedding in Mexico and it was truly the BEST wedding I've ever been to and all the guests agreed! Everyone was hanging out having a good time together, by the wedding we were all best friends. We're all doing the right thing My wedding colors are going to be persian plum and lime green I want to decorate the entire Port Maria with fabric and uplighting, I feel like it doesn't have an elegant vibe that I'm going for. 205 Days until the big day and we have 30 people booked already!!!

Hi! I work for a clothing manufacture and we own a factory in Pakistan so I will be custom making the bags there. I didn't send the bag to be costed out yet since I haven't made a final decision on the bag and I don't have a final head count since my wedding is in Dec. I was hoping to try to get some other brides on board from this website as well. The bag will definatly be under $5 a pc for an XL canvas bag, personalized with Montego Bay and a palm tree with tropical colors. I will most likly be placing my order in July. Hi Islandgirl. My wedding isn't until Dec 2011 so I haven't started working on all the details yet. I spoke to the WC and she said she might be able to help me locate them. If not I'm going to have Rashel (my make up artist) or Brian (my photographer) help me find them. If no one can help I"m going to see if I can check them in my luggage, of course I will have to call Air Jamaica to see if I'm able to bring this item on the plane.

I asked, they said it would be possible but would most likely cost a couple of thousand dollars after getting the permit. We decided to hand out sparklers to our guests at the end of the night. Should make a great picture on the beach for the end of the receiption.

Hi! I booked Rashel and spoke to the new WC at the Grand and she advised me that I will not have to pay a vendor fee for the make up/hair people since they will just be coming for a few hours and leaving the resort after they are done doing the entire bridal parties hair and make up. Hope that helps you with your decision.

Yes, depending on the amount of guests your having/staying at the Grand. I'm waiting to contact them regarding the reception once I get closer to my final head count. It never hurts to ask...

U.S. I don't think it would matter what country your in as the rates droped with the Iberostar, your TA should be able to match the rate. If not, I would try reaching out to new agents in your area to see what they can do for you with the Spring Promotion.

The Grand dropped to $200 a night!! My travel agent was able to adjust my rates this week. Hopefully more of our family and friends will be able to make it!! contact [email protected] He's the man!!

I was able to save my guests $30 a night ($200 a night for my wedding weekend) awesome deal.
