  1. Looks like a great shower! I'm so happy for you and your soulmate!
  2. Would you mind sending me some info on Marcia Roberts? For $1,700 what does that included, how many hours? I'm trying to set up meet and greats with photographers while on the island, hopefully I can take them for a test run and get some engagement photos out of it to use for my STD!!
  3. Yayyy DAP8479! Fellow Grand Rose Hall Bride and from Brooklyn!!! MY FI and I just moved to NJ from Brooklyn. What time is your wedding on Sunday...I might try to sneak a peak.
  4. I'm thinking about doing the bonfire...I'm going to get all the details when I'm down there in a few weeks. Anyone having there wedding at the Grand that has questions let me know and I'll get them answered while I'm there. There might be questions that I didn't think of.
  5. Is anyone getting married Nov 11-14th 2010? I will be their visiting the resort and hopefully booking if all goes well! The photographer I want SunGold also said they are shooting the wedding at Rose Hall this weekend. I would love to hear from the bride! Thanks.
  6. Excellent Idea! I'm most likely geting married in January, but I love the idea of giving an ornament as a favor (I love Christmas too!). How did you make the dough? How many ornaments did you get out of each batch? Where did you order the stamp from? Did you use regular ink with the rubber stamper? Love this Idea!!!
  7. Thanks for posting! What info did you put on the return ticket? I was thinking about doing this so I could get an idea of how many people are "really" interested in coming before sending out the formal invite so I can start planing and purchasing OTB and favors.
  8. I think I"m just going to get a box of various cigars (my FI good friend works for a cigar mag) and make personalized match books or lighters. I love the idea of having someone hand roll them but them I think of all the other places I could be spending that money.
  9. I love Vista Print, used them for my thank you cards for my engagement party. They send me an e-mail everyday of crazy sales that they're having.
  10. I think I'm going to use this too! I love the cover of this song.
  11. Thank you for the price quotes, much appreciated! Did you end up booking them?
  12. I'm trying to decide if I want to DIY or just pay someone to do them. Thank you for sharing! You did a great job, your guests are going to love them!
  13. I would highly recommend going for a makeover at one of your favorite make up counters at a department store or at sephora. You can ask them to explain the techniques that they are using to give you the exact look. Every time I go and buy make up I learn a new tip. You can even bring magazine print outs of looks that you're going for. I got my make done at sephora for my engagement party and it came out fabulous. They charge you $70 ($50 if you don't want air brushing) but you get a makeover and a gift card for $70 so you can buy the products that they use on you that day. I thinking about purchasing the air brushing machine that they used on me, its $200 but it makes your skin and complexion look flawless. This is defiantly a must have item if you’re doing your make up on your own on your wedding day. I'm still deciding if I'm going to do my make up myself or have it done in Jamaica.  Good luck ladies, hope this info helps.
