in the emails/paperwork that i received it says that the deposit will applied towards the wedding package or any extras that we add. i better have that highlighted when i go there in 2 months just in case! haha! thanks angie! i'm sure it will be perfectly fine, with all my guests there i have a feeling that is all i am going to be paying attention to, we have about 58 people booked and few more maybes.... i just can't wait! a little over 2 more months to go!

i think it would definitely fit a beach towel if you rolled it up and put it in there.... i haven't put anything together yet but i bought the following to put in there, individual advil, alkaseltzer and immodium packets (drugstore.com), wet ones, tissues, first aid kits, a little booklet of spanish phrases (i put it together myself instead of spending money on one, then just ran them through a copier with a cute icon), a welcome booklet of the week/weekend events and important information, tropical pens and a note pad, "to have and to hold and to keep your drink cold" beer coozies (oriental trading, cheap for 50), playing cards, lip balm with spf, and i am going to order 22oz plastic mugs with our names/wedding stuff on and put 2 in each bag, thats all i have so far... i started buying stuff months ago so that i could have a bunch of stuff to put in there... i also got these cute little maraca key chains that i am going to attach to the handles of the bag for a cute little touch (amols.com).... thats it so far, and might be it... it is very easy to keep spending and spending on these bags! haha!

i went with the .99 cent ones from cheaptotes.com. they are perfect for the oot bags, i am going to create my own logo and put it on the bags with iron on transfers to personalize them more.

So glad to hear this! i can't wait to hear your review and see your pictures.... i am getting married at the now sapphire on feb 19th and my reception is going to be on the beach terrace, we have about 56 people coming so far, daniela assured me they will make it private and told me not to worry. did you see any weddings set up there? i'm nervous, but i'm sure it will be fine, i can't stress myself out! haha!

i bought my bridesmaids canvas tote bags with their names embroidered, beach towels, flip flops (reefs for my maid of honor and matron of honor and old navy for the rest), wet bikini bags, starfish picture frames and i got them each little dainty heart necklaces with the letter of their first name stamped on it from etsy. i think i am finished with their gifts unless i see something else i have to have! haha...

my dress was only $500 so i paid $300 and my mom paid $200.... but my parents also gave us the money for the wedding package which was extremely generous and unexpected... in this day and age we are in now it is hard for everyone financially so my fiance and i were expecting to pay for the entire wedding.

i had my bridal shower yesterday! it was amazing and i got sooo many great gifts i was uncomfortable inviting anyone who was not invited to the wedding so we had a good number of people at the shower. we decided to invite around 105 people to the wedding (knowing/hoping (haha) that not everyone would attend). i was torn about this at first but then we just decided to invite more people to the wedding and then my shower list got bigger. i feel that every bride deserves a shower, i mean really, how many showers have you been to and given gifts for??? it is your turn now ladies!
