oh no!!!!!!!!!! my mom got a really bad burn on a vacation and the dr prescribed her silvadene cream and it healed it really fast... maybe try going to a dr to see if they can get you some asap!!! good luck!

hi there- i created a logo in power point, its nothing super fancy...it is a black and white palm tree image in a circle and then across it in bright green it says mexico, then under it i put our names and wedding date in a small blue font.... i was going to have a graphic designer make one for me but after pricing the designs and then the screen printer which could cost a small fortune, i decided i can do something simple but cute by myself so i did. i also wanted it to be simple so that my guests can use the bags again.... i used avery light fabric iron on transfers.. i have a setting on my canon printer for "iron on tshirts" so i just choose that in the printing options and it automatically flips the image (needs to be printed flipped so that when you iron on it reads right)... then peeled it off and done! they are coming out great... i made the logo smaller so that i could print 2 on 1 sheet of transfer paper (also saves on cost)... here is a quick picture of what it looks like (horrible picture from my blackberry so its hard to tell from this pic) but they are coming out exactly how i pictured them to be so i am really happy with them, and also that i'm saving a few bucks going this route.... i have little maraca key chains that i am going to attach to the straps too for another cute touch.... good luck and let me know if you have any questions...

i am from new jersey also, getting married at the now sapphire riviera cancun on february 19, 2011!!!! it will be here before i know it!

i ordered my oot bags from cheaptotes. i did the .99 cent canvas ones and i am really happy with them. they are a little on the thin side but they are a great size and more then perfect for an oot bag, i know i would be happy with it if i got it as a guest so i'm really happy i went with them. i created a logo and then printed on iron on transfer paper and ironed them on the bags and they are coming out awesome!

this saturday night - i'm enjoying a glass (or 3) of wine....

hi! i am getting married on the beach terrace on feb 19th. some people worry that the area won't be too private but i'm not really worried about it. we have about 60 guests coming so i'm sure i won't even notice people around the area if they are looking! haha. i've read that some people say the area is small too but daniela told me it could hold up to 200 people. both the tequila terrace and the beach terrace look so nice so whatever you decide will be perfect on your day! here is a picture of the set up that she sent to me:

did you have to show them receipts? or did you just tell them it was for your guests at your wedding and they were ok??? i'm so nervous about getting questioned about things....

sarcrook, I plan on bringing things for my centerpieces with us, we are going to pack as much as possible and then pay for a few extra suitcases for our parents/siblings to bring down... it is going to cost a little bit for each of the extra suitcases but shipping there will cost just as much and probably more.... i also am a total control freak and feel much better bringing my things rather then shipping them so that i know they get there safely, and then i don't have to worry about customs holding anything up... back to the legal ceremony thing, i think thats a choice that you have to figure out what works best for you both... my fiance and i wanted to do it the day before we left because we could not imagine coming home from our dream wedding and not being "married", having people say congratulations and not being legally married to us was just not something we wanted to do. fortunately for us i work for a court and the judge is going to do our legal marriage on valentines day (day before we leave), we are going to keep it very quiet and then treat our wedding in mexico as our real wedding date. i am not worried about not having the emotions on the actual day because i know that we both will, i mean after all it is our dream wedding and having our closest friends and family there witnessing everything is going to be the most amazing thing, but now we will be able to come home from mexico and be legit. either way i don't think it is right or wrong (legally marry before or after your trip) just what works best for the two of you! best of luck with all the planning! its fun and goes soooooooo fast!

my fiance and i are actually getting married here on valentines day (keeping it very low key, small, not inviting a whole bunch of people) and then we leave the day after for our wedding (wedding date is feb 19th)... we just think its easier for us to do it this way for paperwork reasons, etc. and then we will celebrate the 19th as our wedding date/anniversary every year.

thank you soooooooo much for your review and for your pictures! i am so excited! our reception will be later in the afternoon (our ceremony is at 5) so i figure there will be less people in the pools and stuff at that time, i'm sure there will be some people around and looking but i probably won't even notice that during the reception since we will have close to 60 people there... the resort looks beautiful (all of them did!)! i'll have to ask daniela how they keep the area blocked off for receptions. i should be getting my answers shortly, almost 2 months to go! did you guys decide on a place yet since your site visits??? all of the places you went to look so pretty!
